I propose that we have a touroment during the first week it comes out. Yeah, not as many people will have it, but it'll be fresh and we all won't be experts at all of the characters yet. It'd be fun. ^^ i agree! and if someone hasn't unlocked a character, and they see someone else use it, they can ask them how they unlocked it!

No, no, the rules should be that only the normal fighters are allowed for the first tournament then in the next one the locked characters are allowed. So that gives a better chance for everyone to see if they are good.

I agree, but they might make it so that when you fight a character that is locked for you, you unlock him/her by fighting him/her. Thats how it is in MPH.

odd, it seems like if all 8 originals are in it, then that means Yoshi and DK both should be in it, right?

That's what I'm thinking now. the first SSBB tournament should be only the original characters and then the rest of the other tournaments should be any characters you like.

I just can't wait for the tournament using either characters. I just wanna fight ya'll! ;D But most of us will probably be n00bs when it comes to the new controls, so we might want to make the tournament happen after we've all gotten used to it.

I've been reading on wiki and it says that Nintendo may not use the Wiimote that much since they want to stick with the Gamecube controller so that many of it's gamers and still play well with the same style.

OR they could use the classic controller attachment, and then when you activate a "Brawl" move, you can follow movements on the screen with the Wii Remote to increase power! That would be so awesome! Maybe I should E-Mail Nintendo my idea..

I sure hope they do what they did with the DBZ game for the wii and make you able to play with either the wii-mote or the Gamecube controller. I finally bought a wireless gamecube controller for VC games and games that are like that.
Not to sound lazy or anything, but arm movement is so much slower than finger movement, and it won't be as fast paced as SSBM That fast paced action is what I like about SSB.

That's not just on wiki, The maker of the game has officially said that they are going to use the Gamecube controller for SSBB. They said that they tried many different things with the Wii controller, but it was never as fun.

Right now there is nothing new about the game from Nintendo. I hate it when game companies do this. They get you all hyped up about the game and then wait quite a few months so that you almost forget about it and BAM another preview to make you piss your pants or a release date. I hope this one won't get delayed. ><

Actually i think they should have all the time they want to make Smash Bros Brawl, the longer they work on it, the better it will be, because those who wait recieve.(and we get a great wii smash game!!)

That's true since that's what happened with Twilight Princess. It was going to come out in 2005 for the Gamecube but we waited until Nov. 2006 when it came out for the Wii. It was better that it came out a bit later since who knows if Twilight Princess would had been good if it came out in 2005 than 2006. Now that goes for SSBB, it was going to come out in 2006 but now it's going to come out in late 2007. A year can make a differnece. I can't wait.
