Anyone else as exited about this game as i am? The confirmed new characters are: Meta Knight (Various Kirby Games) Pit (Kid Icarus) Zero-Suit Samus (Metroid: Zero Mission) Wario (Wario Games and Mario Sport Games) Snake!? (Metal Gear Solid) Meta-Knight, Pit and Wario were no suprise, (well, Pit was a bit of a shocker) but I was suprised to see Zero-Suit Samus (during play, she changes between her main suit and her zero suit) and REALLY suprised to see Snake. Yeah, I gues they're gonna have samus be like Zelda in SSBM. They change, but are the same person. But at least in this one, Samus isnt dressed up like a guy.
Zero-Suit Samus (if she was real) is hawt!

Anyone else as exited about this game as i am? The confirmed new characters are: There is also one hidden character confirmed as well, but I can't remember who. I'll check again to make sure. In SSBM Pit's throphy gives a hint that he will be in the next SSB game. Go check it out when you get the chance. Plz do us the favor of wearing 2 pears of underwear when you finally get the game. |

I can see it now. B left move turn into I block, B up turn into T block, maybe one attack will be like falling Tetris blocks. Ya know, Nintendo has had Tetris for a long time. I'm surprised they didn't put anything in SSBM for it. Maybe just a trophy, but no. I still can't remember where I heard there is going to be a new character. I personaly want ShadowLink to make an appearance,but they already have Link. |

Isn't that the MEGA64 tetris block? In any case, I still have to wonder how everyone is so excited about Solid Snake. He's an infiltration specialist, not a brawler. |

Take out blood, put in gore. lol Link has bombs, too. And a hookshot, and sword, and...hey! Guns are violent, but Shooting a hookshot into your flesh to grab you isn't?! WTF? |

Bombs are comically over powered and the damage from them is underwhelmed in kid games... Do you really want to see mario getting shot that bad? It would be really weird. |

But I remember reading from the nintendo website that they were'nt gonna give him a gun cuz there are no real guns in the game.

When I unlock snake (if he requires unlocking) i'll start a battle and play with him with only laser guns and bombs turned on as items THEN I'D KILL JIGGLYPUFF!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Well, if you think about it, swords should cut holes in your opponent, and those electric attacks of Pikachu are supposed to be able to power a small city for a day.

Even a rat shooting lighting seems ordinary to Mario. How does he do it if he's like 50 years old? There must be something in the mushrooms. Yeah, SSB has some pretty wack physics. Such as the rubber effect. Bouncing around in tight spaces when your damage is 200%. |

So every second we would get hurt. finally the glitch stopped but everyone except for Luigi had 999 damage |

Why not give Snake his guns? Fox and Falco have theirs. Every character has attacks that could kill someone, except Donkey Kong. Pikachu could melt flesh if he wanted to. Not to mention Samus has missiles, I hope those count as bombs for Snake. If he has a missile launcher, I'll feel a little better.

You know with the old SSB on the N64. There was this funny glitch. It happend every now and then when I played it a lot. If you play long vs battles with Yoshi in it, he will evenutally make this weird noise. Its the noise he makes when hes flying, but it repeats it over and over ontop of eachother making it sound like there are 100 yoshi's making that noise. lol, it made him sound constipated.

I already mentioned earlier, that the developers felt that it would be just too wierd to have real life guns in the game. Frankly I agree. Sci-fi style laser blasters and fantasy style missles are one thing. But how are you gonna explain a dozen bullets flying into mario's head and only doing, what, 10%,20% damage? |
