Great news!!!
One of my favorite characters from the Smash Bros. series will make his second time in the series at SSBB. He is the King of Evil, from the Legend of Zelda series, its Ganondorf!!! I'm so happy to hear it. Here is what the soruce said about it: "Ganondorf is the main antagonist of the Legend of Zelda (series). It was confirmed in the Nintendo World Tour of 2006 that he would appear in his "Twilight Princess" form, with his "Super Smash" allowing him to become Ganon."
How cool is that? He is going to be almost like Zelda/Shiek style. I can't wait to see how he is going to look like. The source is from Wikipedia.com. There are some other websites in Google that says that Ganondorf is confirmed to be in SSBB.

I think by Super Smash, they mean his ultimate move (as seen in the first video, such as Mario's fireblast attack, caused by grabbing a Smash Emblem) but that is ONE COOL ULTIMATE MOVE!! Also, I wish it didn't say his 'Twilight Princess' form, because it spoils that he's in TP.. (He hasn't shown up for me yet) |

These characters all seem plausible for SSBB and also, I have a very short list of unlikely characters that I hope will be in it, but probably wont be.
Sora* (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories) KH: CoM was for GBA, so the 'Appeared on a Nintendo System' requirement is met, but I doubt he'll be in. I hope he will, though!
Banjo & Kazooie* (Banjo Kazooie/Banjo Tooie) BK and BT were both for N64, but since Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft (and rare took BK rights with them) it's doubtful that they'll make it in. But it'd be so awesome if they were!
Lloyd* (Tales of Symphonia) ToS was for GC, but it just doesn't seem popular enough for Lloyd to be a character.

Cloud was never in a Nintendo game, so he couldn't be in SSB.

Cloud was never in a Nintendo game, so he couldn't be in SSB. he made a brief appearance in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories which is for the Game Boy Advanced. So he could be in SSBB, but it's very unlikely (since he played a very unimportant part in it) |

how cool would a banjo-kazooie character be i can imagin it now, or a conker or even characters from killer instinct series, Fulgore would be great to dismantle kirby with ....... damn you Rare,
maybe wonderboy could make an appearance.

Why are you mad at Rare? Nintendo's the one that sold rare to microsoft. (although many people beleive that Rare quit, they didn't.) Luckily, nintendo still owns the rights to Donkey Kong country. But not Banjo or Conker |

Sorry if I missed it but what is the proposed date of release for this game? I think we should have a tournament. How hardcore would it be if on the internet part of the game there was a tournament mode where you could play or spectators could WATCH. Hmmm quite hardcore I believe.

with the last smash bros i was mostly looking forward to the new characters, interesting cast so far but i also hope that they put more detail into the old one, like a certain gerudo i know

Oh man. Early to middle? That seems like late 1Q to early 3Q. Last year they said in 1Q I think. Course if I have to wait to make it better I shall.

I found out that SSBB IS going to be a wifi game. "There was a reason Smash Bros. was announced at the meeting. That was because when it was asked what product Nintendo would want to use to help it unveil its Wi-Fi Network, the first title on the list in both America and Japan was Smash Bros. So it was first decided to talk about Smash Bros. as an example of a Wi-Fi title, resulting in the game being announced before the development structure was finalized." Club should host some of the tournaments too with some different rules, matches, and fighters. It would make this place a busier place to be. |

I propose that we have a touroment during the first week it comes out. Yeah, not as many people will have it, but it'll be fresh and we all won't be experts at all of the characters yet.
It'd be fun. ^^
