yeah my cube is goin on the fritz it won't read any of my discs yeah that's pretty much the problem I'm having. Still it survives for a good 10 minutes. Good enough for a couple of SSBM battles. Yeah same here. I can't play one full match of Madden, NBA Live, or All-Star Baseball.

I'd turn on Madden and almost pray that it would make it to the main menu, since I noticed that after I'd choose a game and got it going it wouldn't give me as much trouble

ISOPROFLE ALCHOLE ? wtf no make the sence isopropyl alcohol? yeah he has a spelling problem. In other news I have figured out that the problem with my Gamecube is two things. one is the disc reading, like I suspected, but I've figured out that one of my controllers is faulty. The wire's are all stickingt out at one end so that was most likely the reason why my gamecube would turn off. When I use another GC controller it works much better. At least when it comes to it remaining powered on.

Whats with people and their gamecubes? I mean this happens with almost every electronic device. My neighbors gamecube makes an annoying noise and in order to stop it, he has to tilt it on its side. The reason why it does that is because he tripped over the wire one day and the gamecube fell off the TV stand down onto the hardwood floor. My gamecube, just like any other electronic I have, is pampered. I am very careful with any vaulable like that. I put the think in an enclosed space so that dust cant get to it, and I always make sure that the thing is in minimal risk of being tripped on. And I play the thing all the time. It used to be my brothers and he bought it like one or two months after it came out. He eventually gave it to me when he got the xbox, and I havent had a single problem yet. There are many other examples of stuff and how I like to take care of it but I've talked enough.

And I have this huge crate for my N64 and SNES stuff that I hide under a table in the coputer room. Every now and then, I pull something out to play. The NES gets its own section in my mom's antique sideboards ^_^

My Gamecube's been acting up for a while now. For a long time actually. What'll hapen is that I turn it on and if, if, the the Cube reads the disc then it'll play for a while but then shut down later on. Odd thing is it shuts down but I can still hear the fan spinning. My guess it the laser's worn out. any one else have problems with their cube? Yes sometimes the game gets errors and I just bought the game brand new. It might be because of it is dirty

Good thing the Wii can play my gamecube games. Ahh...no more old gamecube. I'm still keeping my dusty gamecube.

That's why dusting the fans with a duster helps out. Even though it can still make the Gamecube not play any games it could work. Try it out and see. I did it twice and it was working better than before.

Up intil one point though, my gamecube never had errors or anything!

My GC had been working fine all the way till I got my Wii. I sat the Wii next to my GC and started playing it...well after a while I decided to play some SSBM. I started up my GC and was playing a V.S. when I decided to try it out on the Wii instead! So I turned off My GC, put the disc in my Wii, plugged in the controller and started playing. Afterwards my cusin came over and wanted to play it on the GC, not the Wii. I try and turn it on, but it just comes on and displays the message "Error code 52..sumthin. Refer to the manual" So I check the manual and there is no code 52..whatever. So now my GC won't work since I played my Wii! Is it jealous or something?
