Sonic.
Because I like the super-fast style of play, rather than the slower Mario play style.
Although Mario's recent games (Normal games, not stupid Party games) have been better than Sonic's recent games..

Tie, draw, dead heat, equal, whatever you want to call it. Mario is fun, Sonic is fast. I couldn't really live without either. Oh, and yeah, I'm back. Dodgy internets and exams kept me away. I should be on more now.  |

well after playing Mario and Sonic at the olympics I have concluded that the game was terrible and we'll find out who's really better in Brawl.

I have to go with Mario since it was my first game.. Plus I was always a nintendo guy until sony showed up. Never really cared for sega or sonic...

Mario was there 10 years before sonic, 110 fuckin' years. He's a god. Sonics a cheap but altered imatation. Fuck you sonic.
But sonic games can be enjoyable.

jesus christ we're getting our ass kicked sonic. ah i just love sonic so much, maybe its cause i was born the same time as the dude and ive been around sonic games and stuff all my life, i used to go into the computer room and if i cant solve the riddle to play mortal kombat (im serious you had to solve 1 of several preset riddles to launch the game) id play sonic

The thing is about sonic, he fails. He is a boring 2d character who hasnt evolved since hisc creation. He fails like sega. Mario has his sicilian connections to Don vito Corleone.
