latimers magical game discussion

this is something id like to experiemnt with here and try to use it elsewhere.

so i got some emulators and finally got those magical games that i enjoyed playing for hours on end, even though some of them were demos.but some of them i got for fun and im impressed so lets discuss with what i found.

first up on my list is a game i passed on when i was young because i kinda grew out of dinosaurs so the game is dino crisis, one of capcoms many survival horror games other than resident evil and i must say even now the idea is kinda awesome, the story and gameplay all mimic resident evil or biohazard pretty well, you a are a task force dispatched to investigate an enclosed area and are overwhelemed with an unrealistic experimentation result- only this time its dinosaurs. you start off as a red headed lesbian and are given the tasks of finding and killing the head scientist and looking for team members. gameplay involves running around killing dinosaurs (mostly velociraptors) and solving puzzles. its actually a good game that lets you escape the casual zombie games and kill something a little more awesome- from where i am i hope i dont run into a zombie t-rex.

your thoughts?

nah this is just a discussion about most of the weird ass games ive found on emulators. it'll change every now and then.

dino crisis is actually pretty good, its pretty scary.....the first time ive been scared by a video game. your in this room, you look around for stuff but when you leave a fucking t-rex bashes through the window and eats the dead guy in the room

Yes dinosaurs do indeed talk in parentheses.

I heard that game's ending set up for a sequel but the sequel had a different plot instead.

Because I've always wanted a second opinion on the beavis & butthead game for the genesis,I was 6 back when I played it so I don't know if it was actually good or not.

well it was gonna be about classic games i got but that'll work

i played the super nintendo version and it didnt sparkle with me, its just another platform game with beavis and butthead themes

I had dino crisis 1 and 2. The first was good but like resident evil, the second was better, not much to do with the first its a bit shorter too but the gameplay feels better and there is more shotgun fun.

lets dig up another game, ah yes how bout tekken 3, among many of the games i had for the psx tekken 3 was among my favourites as it had some decent graphics for its times, funny humor in the characters endings and some fun gameplay. i spent most of my time playing as jin seeing as he seems to be the most awesome of them all and yes he has some funky moves to replace my last tekken favourite kazuya. with tekken 6 on the way id love to see what namco can do to keep up my fighting game erection. street fighter 4 i think im gonna pass on

Tekken, never liked those especially because everytime someone used eddy, they'd spam and kick my ass.
SF4 looks cool. Its very old school.

ive not been looking forward to sf4, i'll play it but its not gonna blow my ass open.

Well, I used to play alot of sf2 on the snes when I was young and 3rd strike in the swanage arcades so....im looking forward.

i had street fighter 2 turbo on the snes and have street fighter 2 the champion edition and i am pretty shit at both, all i can do is e.hondas flash punch thing. so i havent got far in street fighter.......havent even done a HADOUKEN
