Anyways next topic for discussion.
Beat 'Em Ups, love 'em? Hate 'em? Or just dont care?
I miss old school sidescrolling beat 'em ups would be cool if they re-made final fight or something with fully HD graphics in a cartoony style but is still a sidescroller. I hate 3d beat 'em ups.

is it me or did the 16 bit era have some of the hardest beat em ups there were, i mean killer instinct, the only way im any good at that is because cinder has the easiet combos, tapping forward with x or y. you really have to experiment for ages trying to find the right combinations, what happened to a move list screen ot the moves written down on the manual

Thats a fighter not a beat 'em up, Im talkin more, streets of rage, river city ransom, double dragon and final fight. We got plenty of hack n' slash games like heavenly sword and that stuff but no beat 'em ups  |

i thought heavenly sword was a ps3 exclusive. and i love beat em ups, their fricken awesome, i could play those for days, i think i will

I've called that off now, I spent a weekend at my aunties not too long ago and she has a ps3, played through MGS4. It was fail, no need for a gaystation 3 now.

the mid section was pretty badass, not to keen on the ending or statup, cmon how cool is it that liquid uses the rail gun from metal gear rex to hit the patriots where it hurts, snake then uses this beaten and weakened metal gear to fight a production model ray unit

im not going on youtube you idiot, it is i, the neo latimer, due to my rose related experiments i have been given sight beyond sight.
since we brought up the topic of metal gear what do we all think about the stealth genre of gaming, i myself think its a good contrast to typical shooters, going in room and killing everything in sight. although i think they should be a tad easier, i mean when your caught it could mean game over, and ive tried playing the first metal gear on the nes and i can barely make it a few screens, im not crap at stealth games its just that you'd have to try it to understand
