PSI ROCKIN' Ω As a side note: As of 4 days ago, the Japanese sound files in MOTHER3 were replaced with English ones. One of them plays when you use an item. You distract an enemy by saying "What's that over there!?" Any game that lets you do that is awesome. Also. Fobbies are Borange. |

Boredom made me do it. Also, the MOTHER3 hacking is moving at an amazing pace. Recently, there have been near-daily updates and it's awesome. There's only like, 1 Block0 thing left to hack, and then there's some menu bug, then testing, then release! (NOTE: The blocks of text in MOTHER3 are numbered according to map. Block0 is misc text found in cutscenes, and stuff like "Lucas opened the present box! There was Nut Bread inside!" Many things in Block0 cause terrible bugs, thanks to things the team had to do to translate the game to English) EDIT: The war against Block0.. There are a lot of things in MOTHER3 that NOA would probably be uncomfortable about.. *SPOILERS, IN CASE ANY OF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING THIS* For one, really freaking creepy man-ladies.  Also at one point in this game, you eat mushrooms and go on a drug trip. Everything turns purple and people walk up to you and say freakish things "Everyone is waiting for you. Waiting to throw rocks at you and spit in your eyes. Who's everyone? Everyone you love." "I'm gonna beat you boy. I'm gonna beat you. Daddy's gonna beat you, boy" "You opened the box. There was nothing inside......Other than the 1000 rat corpses" Etc.. etc.. (I can't remember most of the weirder ones. Some people just scream, or babble incoherent nonsense) And tons of other stuff that Nintendo probably wouldn't be happy with releasing in America. |

Okay, the chart represents the number of google searches for MOTHER3 since the year 2004. The first big spike on the chart (in early 2006) is MOTHER3's official release date in Japan. It got a fair number of searches, of course. The last spike at the very end is the release date of MOTHER3's fan translation. It got TWICE AS MANY SEARCHES. Do you understand my point now? (Interesting notes: The spike in late 2007 is when Lucas was announced for Brawl. Around March 2008, when Brawl was released, MOTHER3's searches go up, and don't really go back down. The spike at the very beginning in 2005 was probably when MOTHER3 was announced) EDIT: Also, according to IGN, EarthBound is the 27th greatest game of all time. It even beat FFVII.
