So Bran-Man a quick question: Is it a good idea to only buy a hardware with Vista in it and not get the rest of the stuff like keyboard, mouse, monitor since that's what I'm planning to only get. I'm planning to keep the HP 18 in. monitor, keyboard, and mouse while I just get a Dell hardware with Vista in it. I don't need any new speakers since I have my GE surround sound flat speakers hooked up to the DVD, Wii and PC which is a good idea for me since each flat speaker has a channel of it's own and it can hold up to 5 channels.

The only thing I'd suggest is getting a new computer cuz upgrading, as I've heard, can be a pain. Everything we got for our vista was new except the speakers which are still good. But you don't necessarily need to buy new hardware.

i'm saving up for a laptop with Vista on it. I'm sure by the time I finally have enough money for it though, all the bugs will be worked out of Vista, or there'll be a new OS out. I'm poor at the moment..

Thanks for the advice since that's what I did, I got a new computer with the keyboard and mouse on it but not the monitor yet since I'm still good with the one I have right now.
