Age of Empires

Who here has played or owns any Age of Empires games? I only have Age of Empires III and it's expansion pack which I love, The War Chiefs.

If you do have it, then what race do you like using the most.

Eh i got or had age of empires titans thingy.....i played it a bit, shadow40k0 new what to do so he helped me out.....

I was a huge fan of Age of Empires while the first and second ones were still new. (and their expansions)

I wanted to get age of mythology but my computer wouldnt support it and I want Age of Empires 3 but once again my computer wont support it.

God, I'm going to have a really hard time choosing what games I'll be getting when I get a new computer.

Same story here pretty much. I still have Age of Empires I & II along with the expansion pack too. But my laptop can't handle the grahpics of AoEIII. I played it at my cuzin's house,too. It was really fun.

Age of mythology i had......reminded 'cause i saw it in gamestation yesterday.....Its a good game....

I wish they covered more of the aztechs and less known empires a bit more.....

Lol, since it's age of Empires, the series can go up to the last time in history where mostly every country was an empire and that was around the end of WWI.

True! Maybe they'll make their next game about that time period.
It would be awesome if they made one were you go from the Stone Age to Modern Age, though.

On AGE of Empires, its all bloody greeks, ancient greece. They suck.
I still think they should do less known tribes, like south america, and very ancient british, like ye' ol' celts. =3

But there were celts in AOE 2. =3

And they did touch the south americas a little, but nothing much really happend there that we know of because they didn't record as much history as we did. Everything is a legend cuz they involve giant snakes and double headed animals, etc.

I borrowed AoE 2 from my mate a while ago. Great fun, especially the big deathmatches

I remember playing scenarios online called Castle blood.

Maximum of 8 players have their own bases and usually there are two teams. Everyone is a different race and they start off in the Castle age.

Then you have 5 or more castles where you can make your civilization's unique unit. Then you would just attack other people using your team and stragegy. At like 500 kills or sumthing you'd get like a blacksmith to upgrade your men. Then later you go into imperial age which allows you to upgrade your units even more, get spies, and have elite versions of your civ's unit.

Then after even more kills, you'd get a villager to start building other buildings and such (except ones like docks and castles).

After that, you just kill your opponents. It's really fun, like I said, I whish Zone.com never stopped supporting the online play...
