Well, I never saw this comming, but Tom is making a new rule that disallows hyphens and underscores. Undercores are banned completely, but there are exceptions for hyphens. Usernames with hyphens on the outside are no longer valid but ones inside the name itself are allowed. For example: -TacoMan- [glow=red,2,300]Not Valid[/glow] Taco-Man [glow=green,2,300]Valid[/glow] And Taco_Man [glow=red,2,300]Not Valid[/glow] _TacoMan_ [glow=red,2,300]Not Valid[/glow] Tom has made it so that if you modify your profile, it will require anyone who breaks these rules change their screen name. So, for example I cant change my profile unless I change my name. But, I'm going to try to keep my underscore as long as I can, and once its changed, I'm going to change my screen name everywhere else to match the newgrounds one. If someone else has your desired name, you can ask Tom to see if its a user who got an account and hasent done anything in it for a long time. Then he can delete it for you and change your name. But like I said, I'm going to be subborn and keep my underscore until Tom forces me! lol |

wow that sucks, so now I have to change my username from Fear_Ops to Fear-Ops...? lame
but its ok cause I rarley go on anyways

What not just change it to RB-Bran. not much diff Cuz I'm so used to the undercore. Also, eveything except my AIM screen name is RB_Bran, so I might as well change everything else to RB-Bran. But like I said, I'm keeping my original un-changed name until I'm forced to. |

the point is theres no reason to ban hyphens or underscores either OH, theres a pretty good reason for it. It's probally going to be for the new layout where the people's profiles will be in a page themselves. Similar to myspace. |

Instead of having a myspace page have a newgrounds page. That would be awsome if you could like add html and stuff like that. |

Well this new rule doesnt really matter to me seeing as my username has no underscores or hyphens Critic90, feel sorry for the people that have to change their name though.

Thats wierd cuz Tom said that any account with anything against the rules would be automatically changed and an email would be send. Try checking the email that you registered the account on. |
