There's a couple things in this that amaze me and I really can't wait if this is true. First, This proves that the Animal Crossing movie is in production. Second, this means that you might be fishing with the Wii-mote sooner than you think. Just to be clear this is a rumor, but some rumors are true. I have found a couple mof trailers but sadly their in Japanese so I can't read anything. I think this might belong more in the Wii section. So a mod or Albert might want to move this...
But, yeah that does look cool. I hope it comes out on Wii, just imagine the possiblities with Wiiconnect24 and the Wii-mote as a net, fishing rod, and shovel!

I think it's a little early for them to come out with an animal crossing on the wii. First they have to wait until the online multiplayer becomes available and people are still playing and getting excited about ACWW. Give it some time.  |

Well I was just readin the new issue of Gamepro I got and they had 5 full pages of games they couldn't wait for that where coming for the Wii. I looked at a spot on the side and it said," Animal Crossing publisher: Nintendo Release date: 2007"! So I guess expect it this year.

I hope that this is true, I've always wanted to play AC but never got the chance. Even though I shouldn't get my hopes up so soon I'm very much looking forward to this.

With the Wii Remote's capabilties, Wi-Fi and the generally fantastic gameplay of Animal Crossing, whenever it comes, ACWii will stay in my Wii for a long, long time.
