Why not give Snake his guns? Fox and Falco have theirs. Every character has attacks that could kill someone, except Donkey Kong. Pikachu could melt flesh if he wanted to. Not to mention Samus has missiles, I hope those count as bombs for Snake. If he has a missile launcher, I'll feel a little better. I already mentioned earlier, that the developers felt that it would be just too wierd to have real life guns in the game. Frankly I agree. Sci-fi style laser blasters and fantasy style missles are one thing. But how are you gonna explain a dozen bullets flying into mario's head and only doing, what, 10%,20% damage? maybe he could shoot paint balls or like practice bullets? That would be weird which is why nintendo most likely won't do it. |

I don't think you get it. Super Smash brothers is a fantasy based game. Snake from the metal gear series is a little more based on real life (despite the story and events of course). So having Real Life guns just does not fit in the smash world. Bombs make a little more sense since in Smash there already are motion sensed bombs and other explosives that are also pretty fantasy based.

Meaning: Gale Boomerang, and anti-gravity boots here I come!! Well on the new weapons I don't know. All I know is that Link is based from the Twilight Princess. As for Knuckles and Sonic, there is a possibilty...but it's slim. |

the reason snake wont use real guns is because there are so many parents that dont want there kids playing a game where if u get shot by a real gun u dont die.kids think like that,but its okay with bombs because most kids wont be in reach of a grenade.it has nothing to do with the fantasy aspect.

the next 1 will probabably be rated e-10 since the esrb wasnt as advanced as it is now

this game should be awesome, at least 2 of my fave characters are still in it, usin snake should be hilarious, but why is everyone makin such a big deal bout zero suit samus, she's not that hot and i cant see her nipples for all those who can

You forgot to add a major influence to women boycotting zero suit samus! It's cuz they're jealous~~! lol
Personally, so long as she kicks ass I'm fine. The orignal Zero Suit samus sucked when you start out as her.

Ever since ssbm I've always wanted to play as Giga Bowser. You get to play against him in ssbm but you can't play as him. |
