When you really think about it, can the Gamecube be considered a retro platform right now?
The whole reason Wii is backward compatible is because the GC had a lasting legacy with quite a few great games. In a way, it's a GC in it's own.
However, the GC in general is beginning to become overshadowed by the GC and it's upcoming potential. The system in general has stopped producing games.
Is it old enough to be retro, or does it still need more years behind it?

The majority of people have not moved on to the next gen when that happens it'l be considered retro....like in less than a year I bet, maybe after christmas.

You could talk about the Cube in the retro section or in the Wii section as far as I'm concerned.
Retro would probably be more fitting though.
