So, now that you have your nintendo wii that is totally compatatble with gamecube games, controllers and memory cards...what are you going to do with that old gamecube?
Well, I bet gamestop or EB (whats the difference, lol) will give you some trade in money. I'm not sure how much they will be trading it in for, but it's probably not that much. Still, the gamecube is still obsolite and I personally have no more use for it since the wii now takes its spot. (poor gamecube)
If I were to keep it, the old thing would just collect dust and be a waste of space in my room closet. So I'm getting the box and the cube and a few games that I didnt quite enjoy that much and I'm going to head on over to gamestop or some other store for an exchange. Perhaps a wii game, or maybe even a DS lite (if I were to trade my old DS in too). Or maybe even a bunch of Wii points, or just cash. Who knows, I might even get a few gamecube games that I wanted.
So my question is, are you going to trade in that old gamecube?

Well Maybe, but any game system to me is a valuble collector's item. I still have Xbox yet I only played it 2 times in my life, but I do have 2 gamecubes (long story) so I should trade in one.

i doubt i'll trade it in for one reason.
Wii can't play GBA games.
Until the Wii gets it's own Gameboy Player, my GC will remain with me (even if it's a peice of crap that only works 1 fifth of the time)

Oh and I turned in my gamecube and I got $20.00. And the gameboy player without the packaging was $14.00. And I also handed in an extra SP and they took that for $22.00! Lol thats more than the gamecube!! Yeah, after handing in a bunch of stuff and getting a gamestop membership I have $70.74 store credit. I dunno what I should get. I was almost gonna trade in my old Ds and get a lite, but I really dont think I need one. And at that gamestop really didnt have much wii games and stuff, so I'll just wait until I go to a different one. I already am going to get Rayman, so I dont need to worry about that. And I was thinking of getting Call of duty 3.

Cheaper than I thought, but you should probably get a DS Lite. It may not look like much at first but it's definetly improved.

I know, but I mean they will only take about $40 for my DS and it costs $140 for a DS lite. I think thats a bit of a rip off. And I have the limited edition version that came with mario kart. I'm keeping mine unless Gamestop starts to do that $80 discount with handing in an ordianry DS thing again.

Smart move, but don't wait too long or it may become as cheap as a gamecube.

Smart move, but don't wait too long or it may become as cheap as a gamecube. Well, if they dont do it again, I just wont buy a DS lite. As simple as that. It's not like the DS won't be able to do anything the lite can.

I found a great purpose for my GCN after getting the Wii. It serves as a handy foot rest while playing Wii games. Sometimes I use it to prop things up, as well. ;D Maybe I'll give it to my kids one day when THEY ask for a new video game. I'll be like "Here kids, you can play with the crap I used to play with!"

So there is no use for it unless you have the gameboy player, or you still want to use the LAN connectior, lol. BTW, I got 14.00 for my gameboy player. I didnt want it cuz I only used it for the like pokemon red and blue, lol, and it wasnt that often...
