Easy now. Emulators can be considered Piracy if you don't have the original Game yourself. I'll admit i've used them though.

Its sorta illegal only if you don't own the origional rom. An emulater is a program so you can old games (manliy cartridge based games) on your computer. You can also play cd based games like playsation

Unless you want to play other console that the Wii won't support like the Neo-Geo and the Playstation

Emulators are a lot of fun thats why I use them all the time. The virtual console is pretty much an emulator. I wonder if I can play final fantasy on it. Oh and I heard that on the virtual console that the graphics might be better for games and that you can play games on it that were never released for the U.S

I play a few different emulators, but I mostly just play games I have or had at one point too. It's fun to play old N64 games like SMB online with people that you didn't get to play with before..

At school, in one of my computer classes, there would be some people playing Mario Bros. for the NES and some playing sonic, and some even were playing a Mech Suit game that was in 3D. All the games would also take up the whole screen. Now, are those Emulators or are they just off a website.

I have tried an "emulator" once, and well, lets just say I didn't like it.

I've only used ZSNES and virtualboyadvance. I love those Megaman Battle Networks even more on the computer, and I couldn't deny myself the chance to play Chrono Trigger. That's pretty much all i have.

Never try to emulate a console onto a computer. It feels so retarded, and you usually die on levels that are normally easy to beat because the button config is messed.

That may be true for some games that use a lot of buttons. But the simpler ones aren't usually that bad once you get the hang of it. They also have USB devices out that you can order online and plug your controller into so it's almost the same as playing on your system! The one I have works with Playstation1 and N64 controllers. ;D
