Definately Mario Kart. Even if you don't have people to play locally, you can still play online. If you don't have wifi, the game is still very fun to play alone. So, it's basically a win-win game.

Do you have wi-fi? If you do and want to use it take Super Mario out of the question. Other wise all those game are great. If yo don't have wi-fi I wouldn't recomend MPH because it is very short in 1player. You can choose if you weant Mario Kart if you like racing games. If you don't you won't think Mario Kart is the best ever but you'll still think it's pretty damn good!

Mario Kart or Metroid hunters, or Super Mario. You should definitely get Metroid Prime Hunters if you have WiFi Connection. It's a really fun game even in single player. |

Where's albert and his extreme passion for metriod. I'll suggest two other games that you might want to consider getting. If you like puzzles: Tetris DS (goes on wifi ;D)
And if you like RTS like gams, get Advanced Wars Dual Strike. I'm not sure if it's classified as an RTS, but I think its like one.
But that reminds me, has anyone here though about getting the age of empires game for the DS? I have it for the computer and its awsome, but I'm too worried that the DS version would suck, so I didnt buy it.

Metroid is a great game but you have to take into consideration the kind of gamer you are. Mario Kart is all around a good choice because it's fun without Wi Fi and fun with it. BUt MPH is good if you could get into fierce online matches and if you can handle the slightly difficult control scheme that comes with it. So think it over. They're all good games. |

The age of empires for DS? I got that. I think it is really fun. It is like a medieval Advance wars. It's turn based. I really liked it because it was turn based but you also have to go and get resources. So it is like rts/turn based game. I'm really into it. Course I like medieval stuff. It's a fun game. Try to demo it somewhere but if not I think you should still buy it since you seem to have a passion for advance wars and starcraft(another game it reminds me of because of resourse collecting).

Now i would suggest "new super mario bros" because its fun and a great time consumer (I must have spent hours playing it), but if your more interested in wifi then i suggest mario kart because its easier to pick up and play then metroid, metroid prime is a great game but it takes time to get used to.

Well, the main reason I was considering to get it was because I love playing age of empires on the computer. I didnt know it was turn based though. I think I might put it on my christmas list. (I will definatally get it if its put on my list because that list is sent to every member of my family, and it will be one of the cheaper ones.) |

mario kart if you havent heard it enough/metroid but mario kart will be more fun if you have friends..the other day i played with 6 friends at the same time

i think you should get metroid prime hunters if you have wifi. that game is GREAT on wifi. its great single player too but its short. mario kart is good online too and its great single player. i consider super mario or mario kart if you dont have wifi. if you do have wifi then metroid prime hunters or mario kart.
