Now I play a game called star wars minitures. I was thinking "how about making a nintendo minitures game?" If you dont know what Star Wars minitures is go to www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/welcome&dcmp=ILC-SW062006FPThey have the rules and everything. Click on "minis demo" on the left to get a better idea. Like with SW minis, the Nintendo minis would have a starter pack with a rule book and map with some figures. Then you would buy bossters with random figures in them and you would have one rare/unique one in each. Like for example if a box contained 7 figures there could be: 3 commons (goompas, and other soilders from games) 3uncommons (soldiers and stuff that are sometimes seen in the games) and one unique (like mario, samas, ect.) Each figure would come with a card and the card would have stats on them, just like star wars minis. Anyone this this is a good idea, or a bad one? (dont forget to answer poll)

There's like a game like that for Marvel D.C. and Star Wars.

Seems like a nintendo version on D&D(i think?) I don't know my town is a sony town. If something like that was digital and wi-fi then no problem but oh well.

Yeah the Mini one for Marvel and DC comics are called Heroclix. I played those before I discovered Star Wars. But a version of the game would be fun on the Wifi and the DS touchscreen. You could tell where to move your units on the touch screen and where to attack, and their stats would be on the top of the screen.

We got a game design here! lol That does sound cool. I would buy it, but which characters would they use. My picks would be Link, Mario(duh), Mr.G&W, and they could also have rare ones you have to unlock. Like Shadow Link, Metal Mario, and Daisy.

Well they could use everyone from super smash bros. brawl ans all of the ones you have to unock in that ghame are the secret ones and than they can add other characters.

I might buy the game, if it was a bigger field and more characters.

Well, the reason why I like the actual real life board game idea is because you can always make new sets with new characters. Like with star wars minitures, there is a new darth vader in every set they release. And they just released a set mostly baised on the sith lords from the Knights of the Old Republic games. So with a situation where you can make new sets, a new games could come out and nintendo would release a new set with all the new or updated characters.

I get what you're saying. That might work with the wii. I mean there is WiiConnect24 which could always update it. So if there is compatibility with WiiConnect24 and the DS then maybe it could update the sets...

They also have a Nintendo monopoly, but it makes no sense. (I'm gonna buy Princess Zelda, k?)
Just replacing things from another game with other things doesn't mean instant win, remember that.

Or at least make the trophies from Super Smash Bros. Melee into the little figures and have a real trophy collection of all the Nintendo eras.
