Hey, i thought i would bring up a cool idea! Since i know we are all nintendo fans an we do play alot of games online but nobody seems to join, i think its because they arent noticed. So im posting to get everyones ideas on maybe having the admin letting us post announcements of our own so we can post when we are hosting and on what game so that the message gets through. I think it would be an awesome idea and then we could just delete it when we are finished or an admin / mod could do it for us. Whatcha think guys?

But I think that was in another topic or a PM. Albert did make special segments for the topics, but didnt have the "admin/mod" deletion part. I dont know what is reasoning behind it is, but I'm just happy we have the topics in the first place. So, I'm just letting you know, that it's already been suggested. Good thinking though. |

Well Albert couldn't do that because than the annocments would just fill the entire page with so many people making them. If this site gets a really stupid and mean guy he'd just make pointless anouncements like"*insert sn here* IS REALLY STUPID!!" or"IM NEW HERE PLEASE DON"T BE MEAN TO ME"

I don't support this and i think Albert has discussed it enough. but like you said: get some really important news and PM it to Albert. A forum with the users being able to make announcements, would be bad, trust me. browse these sites if you want to help. www.thewiire.comwww.digg.comwww.ign.comIf you really want to play online with someone on the DS get two people and send Albert an instant message telling him to make a temporary announcement, and he will probably oblige. |

I think it's a good idea! Atleast for now while we don't have many people. I know I played ACWW for over 2 hours without anyone joining one day.. :[ I don't see the problem in trying it anyways. I mean, if people start being stupid and posting stuff that doesn't need to be announced, then Albert can always just take away the privelage can't he?

I think users can simply make new threads. See the way it is now only staff members can post announcements. So, I plan on assigning a mod or two to look after the other DS game sections, seeing as I already watch the MPH section a little closer then the rest. |
