Even though I am not a Pokemon fan( to say the least  ) I am actually considering buying this game when it comes out. I got the newest EGM and in it it said," The Online component can make this game the one everyone's talking about...............You can spar with other trainers on online, Change your trainers look, and even hook up with you DS to import your Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl!" So the question I'm asking you is, how amny people here are getting this game? The online play would be the main reason I'm getting this game(and also how cool it will be to actually throw the pokeball!) and I'll get it if a lot of people here getting it so I can play them ;D! |

NO, think about it for a second, you'd just be justifying the fact that online play makes the game. Pokemon games have been a dying breed since Ruby and Sapphire and the only thing keeping them alive is the fans of the seires and trading card game. Games like these just become so reptative that you just want to return thaem after a week, and Now they slap a Online Play label and hope that will cause people to buy an old game with slitghty improved look from the last. Well don't give into it and think about the whole thing before you buy.

Take a look at my points: Yes, I'm one of those guys that still plays Pokemon in my old systems as of now I'm still playing Pokemon Puzzle League for the N64 and I'm also one of those guys who avoids the latest Pokemon games that comes out (example: Pokemon Ranger games). I'm thinking that the latest Pokemon game for the Wii could do better than the Pokemon Colossuem games with the online thing but on the other side, the online thing is a bit too late for the Pokemon series since it could had work if the Gamecube had the online stuff. So my thoughts about the next Pokemon game: I'm going to buy to try out the online while we all know that the catching Pokemon and training them is still going to continue in Battle Revolution. |

For me, I'd just wait and watch. After it comes out it give it a couple days to hear some reviews from people on this site and in Mags and other sites. Then I'll think about buying it, but personally I haven't bought a poke'mon game since Poke'mon Stadium for the N64.

The connectivity between PBR and P:D/P should be great and online battles should be fantastic. Don't know if I'll get it but it looks kickass.

its just a 3d version of diamond and pearl game that coming out for DS..(I reserved my diamond at a gamestop near me!!)

I heard it's just like those pokemon battle areana games for the N64. You just fight and walk around. Nothinglike the Gameboy/Ds versions. |

I remember wasting my cash on a Pokmon game for the NGC. It sucked hard. I might buy it for the online but Im not sure right now.

well actually since diamond and pearl come out april 22nd..and pokemon battle revolution comes out june 25..you will have plenty of time between games to get both ^_^

Also you can get to trade pokemon in the DS games with the one in the GBA games, just like you did with Gold, Crystal, & Silver to Red, Blue, & Yellow.
