;D
Post how long you have played without having to replace the batteries. I am on 36 hours now on one mote, and its only one bar down. This is jumping between zelda, red steel, and wii sports. oh and monkey ball.
I am totaly impressed with nintendo but i am not surprised.
compared especialy to the ps3 controler which i have had an average of about 4-5 hours.
playstation 4-5 hours wireless wii 36+ wireless vibration sounds infrared
it just doesn't compare.

Yes I know. I estimated that my remote was active for at least 30 hours before finally getting low on battery life.
And really Batteries are dirt cheap anyway so it was agood idea for Nintendo to use Regular AA batteries.

I got 15 minute rechargable batteries I've had to replace both controllers (batteries) around the 30 hour mark

does the ps3 have a rechargable battery that it comes with? or are people replacing double a's every 4-5 hours of use?

Yeah 30+ hours is a good estimate. I love the battery life.

The PS3 is all internal batteries so to recharge them you have to plug it into the usb port. but the system has to be on to recharge it. That is my biggest gripe with the system is its controlers. not the price tag the controlers.

I used the ones they give you for at least 20 or so hours(they were the cheap kind, though) I replaced them sometime last week, battery life right now is:4 bars! Pretty empresive.

I'm thinking that Nintendo is going to do a Wiimote that uses less battery life to have the Wiimote more life to it before the batteries die.
