Japanese Wii to cost $171?

If this is true this'll be the best thing to happen. Rumors are going around that the Wii might be $170! Everyone new it would be cehap but not this cheap. This is just a rumor but I hope it's true.

Well it was an estimate markdown from figuring the costs of the wii's cpu. but if its true.. there will be alot of happy (poor) people like me!

Its actually a pretty smart move by nintendo, if it is that cheap. More people will be apt to buy a 170 dollar system vs xbox360 and ps3 in the 400-500 (unconfirmed) range.

I thought it was confirmed at 500 for cheap and 600 for expensive.

Also, Yeah! Since it's even cheaper I have an even better chance of getting it for Christmas.
