Microsoft and Nintendo could take Sony down. Most of the market is made up of casual gamers, who want to have fun. Not plunk down 500(or 600) dollars for a "media center." Don't get me wrong. Most "casual" games would love to have a PS3,they know is has high software specs but, they just don't love emptying their wallets. Even if Microsoft and Nintendo didn't overtake Sony this round. If they cut Sony sales by 30 million(PS2 sold 130 million times,Xbox was 24 mill and GC was 20mill)I think it would still be a victory, and possibly open the door for more co-operation between Microsoft and Nintendo. Peter Moore knows Sony can be beat. Will Satoru realize it?

Well, if Nintendo and Microsoft takes out sony when the the Wii is released by joining, that could create some sort of monopoly. No, they wouldnt be forcing people to prevent from making games. Nintendo learned their lesson once already. Thats how sega came to consoles. But its best that there are three companies, more of a selection.

i have even more news on the wii controller but i do not have a link i just have the news: IGN Wii has uncovered some new information on the Wii's controller. Here's some of what we didn't know:
-The pointer accepts two AA batteries. -The batteries will last for 30 hours if precision pointing is being used for aiming. If only the accelerometer is being used, then 60 hours. No word on things such as the Classic Controller. -The pointer features 6 KB of "non-volatile memory." This is used perhaps for the speaker or to remember certain settings. -The SYNCHRO button under the front Wii flap allows for synchronization with controllers. -All the buttons on the pointer and nunchuck are digital. -The sensor bar, about 20 centimeters, must be placed above or below the TV. -The rumble motor in the pointer can be turned on or off. Developers can vary its degree of intensity, but the user cannot. -LEDs on the pointer show the number of players and indicate battery life when the system turns on (100%, 75%, 50%, and so on). -Developers are expected to get Classic Controllers in September.
Nintendo had no official comment on the IGN article other than the usual "No comment" answer. We'll have more as Wii secrets continue to come to light.

I don't mean for them take Sony out of the business. I just meant I hope Sony will learn they aren't good enough to sell a $500-$600 dollar console. If Microsoft and Nintendo close the gap on consoles sold I really think Sony will be shown that they are not untouchable.

Wow that headset sounds awesome! I hope they do something like that too. I'm a little bit confused at this though though: -When Nintendo first showed the controller at Tokyo Game Show late 2005 they were very hesitant to show it full usage. I will allow one more clue to my finding that the Wii controller can function exactly as we all have seen demonstrated WITHOUT the sensor bar. So ask yourselves, why need a sensor bar?
-The sensor bar was in all actuality in no use at E3 2006. What is will allow hasn’t been shown yet.I thought the sensor bar was how to controller worked? How else would it sense your movements when you play the game? Or does something else do that.. Is the sensor bar thing just for the headset if they make it? Maybe I'm just getting the names of stuff confused.. I don't know! >.<

So ask yourselves, why need a sensor bar?" It's asking the same question. It wants to know why it doesn't need it and it thinks it might have something else do it.

Oh..Yeah I think I kinda understand..I just wanna know how the thing does sense movement! maybe it was a special T.V.? Or maybe it has it in the wii! Maybe It's ethier in the wii controller place or inside the hardware. That's probably the most reasonable answer.
