www.gwn.com/news/story.php/id/9933/I hope this isn't a Toys 'r' Us only thing.....also this is sort of a semi-price confirmation although it could be Toys 'r' us adding the extra 50$. 20 bucks says it's Wii sports.

I'm trully hoping that if Nintendo decides to do this, they decide to include an extra Wii-mote controll as well.
The Nintendo Wii with Wii sports and and two Wii-mote controllers.
I doubt few could resist that.

Lol. I've gotten my mom convinced that getting the Wii will be a good thing. And it is. She is even trying to see how she can pre-order one for me. I'm so excited ;D

The nunchuka attachment IS sold separte. It costs less then another wii-mote though. I heard nintendo would sell spare wii-motes in a pacakage already with the nunchuka for only 39.99!! That might be cheaper and easier than buying both separte.

I love how nintendo tries to make things as cheap as possible. Thats why I'm a nintendo fanboy. But the xbox is pretty good. The 360 wasnt that much of an improvement. I guess graphics is everything for some people.

Nintendo has like sweatshops full of little knomes who make thier stuff. lol Yeah, I heard the PS3 is gonna be around $500!!!!WTF?! That's defeninatly going to make some poor gamers buy the Wii for a measly $100! ;D Plus Nintendo's online game services are going to kick Zbox360's ass! Xbox has little arcade games, those can't match up against N64 classics. They even say Genesis and Dreamcast titles will be available. Last but not least, the online servivce will be FREE!! w00t! Go Nintendo!

Add an extra 5-10 dollars for the motion sensing technology and the rumble function, and its about 35-40$ Plus all that technology fit into a small space, would add to the manufacturing costs. It's not that bad though the Xbox360 controllers are 50$ each and they are fragile...the wii mote should be kid proof.

Go Nintendo! I agree the Xbox arcade games are overpriced 5-10$ for some half assed ports for games that weren't that great back then ...but I'm sure everyone is having doubts about friend codes. Having to remember a different a 12 digit number for each game is a real bummer. Nintendo wants people who use the online service to be safe...but that couldl've been accomplished in a more efficient way...at least by having a universal friend code.

Yeah friend codes blow, but I think they might nix them on the Wii. I heard that anyways. I hope the Wii has better third party support than the GCN.

They dont have to do the friend code thing do they? I mean they can still have it on wifi, but cant they have you with your own screen name and go into some sort of big game list on where you can choose what game you want to join by the name?
