What would you say the greatest comedy ever made is?
By that I mean your fave or most original.
I'd have to say Clerks.
This little low budget gem of 1994 makes me laugh so hard everytime i see it. Its got to be the most well written movie ever.
Its smart and very honest and true, with great acting from people who's it was there first movie (except veronica)
Randal and Dante are always in conflict yet are still best friends, and the random customers that come in make for some of the funniest and strange scenes on film.
And also, Dr Strange Love is epic too, its one from the late 60's, about an Ex-Nazi scientist that cant stop doing the "Seig heil" arm motion and is in conflict with himself, great acting, pretty rude too. Its about the Nuclear bomb.
I suggest these movies very much, but if you hate black and white and dont like humor that reguires some thinking and to pay attention, then stay away.

That's a hard one, since the opinon of humor is ever changing and almost never the same.
But for me, Rush Hour 1-3. Number 3 being the best so far.
Oh and who can forget the freaking Simpson's and Family Guy Movies.

Simpsons movie failed to make me laugh. I did like the family guy one. Lois: When I found out we was gonna be in a movie I was like FUCK yeah! I need to see rush hour 3  |

Holy Grail! Monty Python makes hilarous movies. Anchorman:Legend of Ron Burgundy is a close second followed by the simspons.

Cursing is fine, toilet humor is fine.
But, not one of the comedies I listed has toilet humour in, and strangelove doesnt have cursing in.
I like smarter comedies, and I hate gay ass teen comedies.

Yeah all the jokes are, guy cums on someone they dont notice, someone gets there head hit by something, fucking stupid.
We need more comedies like titanic and bambi >=(

My top three comedies are: 3.Airplane-Classic Funny Movie 2.Hot Fuzz- Amazingly funny first half/ more action than most movies second half1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail- Another classic movie.

I saw Hot Fuzz not to long ago, it was pretty good, but to me Shawn of the Dead was funnier. Yeah Monty Python will always hold a place in my heart...
