I'm just a little bored right now but I keep wondering something, so I'll just ask. If playing Video Games is the most fun you have, whats the second most fun thing you do?

If playing Video Games is the most fun you have, whats the second most fun thing you do? 2nd: Playing Star War minis (most of the time with friends) 3rd: Well, uhh lets just skip this one... 4th: Hanging with friends (but we usually play video games, lol.) 5th: Doing things on teh interwebs (this includes making flash) 6th: Watching TV There's others...

Nice responses. Guess I just got that reptative gamming slump. You know when youv'e played games for too long and get a little tired, and you feel like nothings half as fun. Anyway after some Internet action on Newgrounds I felt alot better. That has to my second favorite thing to do, so I hope everyone will still post cause I'm still interested.

I'm just a little bored right now but I keep wondering something, so I'll just ask. If playing Video Games is the most fun you have, whats the second most fun thing you do? When I'm not playing video Games I'm on the PC for... ever. Well let's see. Usually when I'm not playing video games I'm just on the internet. When I get a bit bored I go to this and other forums I enjoy, watch some Series I like from Youtubem or Work on Photoshop for a bit. One thing I've noticed is that time passes a lot faster on the computer when I'm talking to friends online. So that helps significantly. But, I don't know it's weird. Sometimes being online just has its moments. There's times when I'm extremely bored on the compy but I stay on, just for habit. But there's times when I get hooked doing something and I stay up way longer than I intend to. Sometimes it's something that doesn't appear fun yet it hooks me for a long time. I also listen to a lot of music on my PC. and just because i'm bored (see what I did there?) I'll add a little list to how I do things when I get bored of Gaming. 1 Video Games (to be fair mostly I play games on my PC.) 2 Computer (The thing is, this includes doing so much that it could be part of another list itself. Things like making art, reading, talking to friends, listening to music and so much more.) 3 Playing Guitar (But really I do this one at all times of the day including while playing video games or on the computer.) 4 Watching TV (This one's a bit boring for me since there's not many shows I like on TV right now)
But even then, that list jumps around a lot. What we basically learned here today is that my Computer is everything to me and that I need to have my faithful guitar next to me at all times. ;D

Video games- I LOVE online games...namely, Halo 2 on Xbox live. Get a few "friends" (people you meet while playing, you sorta become friends) and just go around playing matchmaking. I can tell you it's probably the most fun i've ever had playing video games. Of course, I sold my Xbox to get my Wii, so i'm PRAYING TO GOD that Wii gets a good online game, plsu voice chat
Karate- When I'm not playing games, I'm usually at karate, I go 3 times a week, 8 hours a week. i got my Black Belt in October, i've been going for 4 years.
Animating- I first started with Pivot, got pretty good at that (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3074783) Then I started with Flash, I know how to work the program, but most of my stuff looks like crap. Mostly becuase I never work on it...
I really can't think of anything else, thats basically my life. Boring I know.

Ok here is mine.
2nd: Going on the computer and listening to my music, typing my novel, surfing around the net, playing some online games, checking my email, and checking my myspace sometimes in the week.
3rd: Hangin out with my friends in many places including playing video games.
4th: Cleaning or fixing my weapons collection and my cleaning or checking the inside of my car.
5th: Researching many colleges and universities that I'm thinking may I go to.
6th: Watching anything good on TV including sports.
7th: Wrestling, Muay Thai, Soccer- I've been wrestling for 2 years and Muay Thai for 5 years. I wrestle at a boxing/wrestling gym 2 times per week and I go to a karate place 3 times a week but instead of karate classes, it's other types of matrials arts including Muay Thai. And last is Soccer which is mostly on the weekends that I do it with my cousins and friends.

Anything that has to do with the video game industry so video game designer falls in and so do the following: sound arts, motion graphics design, and animation and visual effects. The colleges I have sent forms to are: Westwood College, University of Phoenix, Expression College for Digital Arts, University of Georgia Tech, The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., and University of Southern California. I'm thinking of checking out the Art Institute in Orange County, Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and Chapman University. So yeah I have done a lot researching and I'm doing it.

That's awesome, but do you have any prefrence what so ever to a specific game design job? That;s a lot of colleges you've checked out, too. I'm still in 10th grade so I haven't been doing that much research, but I also plan on being in the game industry. I'm aiming for Designer! ;D

So that's why I have been doing a lot of researching.
