its a toughie for me since ive had about 10 blue screens of death in the past year and the red ring isnt an issue for me,

Maybe, but my friends brother has had hos 360 since launch and its never even frozen whilst loading a game let alone red ring.

Some are just lucky,i think the whole reason the dvd drive wears down is because something was too tight or out of place.

Apparently its cause its slightly out of place and microsoft wont pay 50 cents for each 360 to fix it, cheap assholes.
