Zelda TP + Gears of War = best gaming holiday season ever! Already reviewed as a "Halo killer", it was compared as a mix of Halo, Resident Evil 4, and Doom. oh yeah its fun, but look at these graphics! Defiantly a must get for any 360 owner.  |

Yes, I saw X-play give them a great preview last night and it makes me want to get the game. But the only problem is that they're giving it so much hype. Halo was so popular because it was such a surprise that it was a success. I dont think this game will earn the title of "Halo Killer" but I looks like it will still be a really good game.
I guess we'll have to wait until it's release to see if it's really what it's hyped up to be.

when I was at eb games playing the Wii(Yes I did!! I'm going to post it in the Wii section soon!) I saw a trailer for it. It looks amazing

I think they're releasing this now to replace Halo3 since it isnt gonna be done when the PS3 came out. Think about it, Microsoft said that they would release halo3 around the time the PS3 comes out. Well, there's no hear of a halo3, but instead all of this hype about gears of war. Sound supicious to me.

I don't get it! Emergance Day is the 12th but my friend got it on Thursday!! I haven'tplayed it yet but hopefully I will soon. Waittttt I remember hearing it'll be realesed early but not many people can get it. The 12th is when everyone can.

I remember reading about Gears Of War it looked awsome. Too bad i'll never get it seeing as its for Xbox360, i just dont like the system. Maybe theylle have a gaming station with Gears Of War in it next time i go to an electronics store.

Halo Killer
I hope so Halo needs to be shut out! I love Gears Of War! Dom and Marcus make a good team. I finished it today and thought it was amazing. I dont have an xbox360 my bestfriend does and me and him played it alot and I give the title "HaloKiller" you all say what you like and im going to say it again Halo needs to be stop "HaloKiller" please let this game get game of the year! well I want a couple nintendo games to be game of the year of course! Go Nintendo To The Max!!!

I played it today for the first time. So great.
Only thing was I was playing with noobs so I couldn't beat single player too far.

We mainly just played multiplayer for a bit, I got atleast 3 kills on him too. It is a good game with sexy graphics, the only thing I didn't like was the voices for the characters in campaign mode were too low. |

I don't see why people say that a new game is a "Halo killer", ive played Halo it was fun but not that great. I actually have more fun with the Ratchet and Clank games or Timesplitters. There are alot of "Halo killers" out there, there just not noticed.

Yeah, I own the game and I love playing online multiplayer but sometimes I get my ass kicked but hey, at least I'm having fun on it. I hope that there is a Gears of War II coming out.
