How's the 360?

When there are no games I want out for the Wii and i've beaten -or got tired of- the ones I have, I was thinking about getting an X-Box 360, just wondering if it's any good or not.

Yes, It is a good system if you're going for that kind of thing. With many good games that are now out it should keep you entertained for a good long time. Obviously limiting yourself to only play and stay devoted to one system is ignorant and not too fun, so I'm glad you've asked out of curiosty.

I don't won a 360 but I've played it. It is extremley fun if you like FPS's. It's really just a FPS system(I'm not saying that's all it has but that's it's biggest strong point) So if you like beatiful looking fps's like half-life 2, Gears of War, or Fear this is the system for you.

Sure that's great and all but it doesn't match a good PC, at all. In fact I'd recommend getting a good PC for FPSs. Gears of War on the other hand is a killer app for the 360. (although I did hear rumors of it going to PC as well.)

I love gears of war. It's so fun. And its the type of game I'd like to see on the wii.
But the game i want the most, if i was to get a 360 is Perfect Dark Zero, Simply 'cause I'm addicted to the N64 game. (Playin' it now)

Is Zero any good?

I had tried it in my cousin's house and it lacks the story that many fans were waiting for. But the multi-player mode is still the same. It is a good game if you like Rare or are a fan of the Perfect Dark games.

I like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter better than Perfect Dark Zero. That has more better storyline and a fun multi-player mode.

My brother just got one today and tomorrow, I'm going to go over to his house and play dead rising. Oh I just cant wait. I wish I had a 360. But then again he wishes he had a Wii, lol.

yea about this gears of war, im not feelin it, doesnt look that special, the new perspective viewn doesnt look any different than resident evil 4, and so wot if the graphics are good, am i missin somethin, wots so good about this game

Gameplay man. It's not like in halo how you're running into a field of covinant running around shooting people while dual wielding two SMGS.

You find cover behind rubble, pillars and buildings. You can pop out at any moment, take a few pop shots, and go back before you get shot in the face. Also the AI is very smart. It's always challenging you by finding a way to kill you. So you have to kill them before you lose.

Well, the 360 is a worthwhile system. I went over to my brother's place the other day and played two games. NFS Carbon and Gears of War.

The graphics in Carbon look really good on the 360, but I never really liked the NFS franchise. I always liked burnout more.

Now Gears of War is a great, Great, GREAT game! I first played single player to get used to the controlls and everything and it's challenging. You're constantly moving and the graphics on it are stunning. You can actually make out where everyone is. The thing I like most about it is that you can hide behind a rock and stick out your gun and shoot without risking yourself being shot. I also like how you can just slightly stick your head out so that you can aim while shooting or observe where the enemy is.

Then I played Xbox live with that and boy was it fun. The first few games I played, I was in a squad with a few other people in a grave yard. We hid behind a few pillars and waited for the enemy to apprach. I found one guy and started shooting at him but he hid behind a grave stone. So I said "What the heck" and I took out a shot gun and charged in. Well, I got my head blown off by one of that guy's team mates and had to wait until the next match to play.

In the next match, I went the opposite way of my team and snuck around where the enemy was. I ran up behind this guy, but he saw me and turned around. At the same exact time we shoot eachother and go into what I call the "helpless mode" This is when you're near death and you cant do anything but to call for help. Luckily one of my team mates made it in time to save my life. Once I was revived, I took a shotgun and blew the head off of the other guy that was in "helpess mode".

We ended up winning that match. And I wish I had a 360. But it's my brother's and I had to go home eventually. I think I'll save up some money for the 360 and get it around the summer. Boy, I cant wait to go online again.

right, i played gears of war today, and i must say its........ its just so.........its just a huge heap of bollucks, crap control system and manoevoring is just hell, its just another one of microsofts overrated fps's so you can take that grenade and shove it up YOUR ass link
