Now there is a lot of good and bad video games into movies out there (Good ones: Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy Vii: Advent Childern, Mortal Kombat; Bad ones: House of the Dead, BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark; Both good and bad ones: Doom, Street Fighter, Alien vs. Predator, Super Mario Bros., etc.).
Do you think that some video games that are coming soon to theaters (Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Alice, Cold Fear, Darkwatch, DOA: Dead or Alive, Alien vs. Predator: Survival of the Fittest, Halo, Hunter: The Reckoning, Mortal Kombat: Devastation, DragonBall Z, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil 4, Spy-Hunter, The Suffering, Tekken, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, & Splinter Cell) & (Rumor to be movies: Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter II, Quake, Doom 2, Mario & Luigi, & Freedom Fighters) are going to do well as some before them or fall like the rest of the others? Plus what do you think about these upcoming video game to movies titles? Are you shock by some of them or know that it was going to happen? Which ones are you going to see?

What?! super mario bros is a good movie! and you forgot ff7 advent children in your "good" movies section =o
Personally i had no idea any of these movies were being made, but id be down for Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil: Extinction, Resident Evil 4, Tekken from your list. They wont do as good as the movies wich huge actors (im asuming most of the will be animated, like advent children) but alot of gamers would see em.

I hate it when they make video games into movies, its just a big marketting gimmick to get people to pay for it and most of the time the movie sucks.  |

Some of the movies are good but must suck so I'm going to go with it depends. Doom and Mortal COmbat as pretty good while House of the Dead and BloodRayne where bad. It depends on the director

There tends to be a mixed reaction on good or bad movies for video games. The ones that I liked were Super Mario Bros...and thats it. All the others, well sucked in my opinion.
Mortal Kombat was sucky, Tomb Raider was just an excuse to show some tits 'n ass, Doom had a different plot than the game, Resident evil (from what I've heard) sucked, and I've never seen the final fantasy movie cuz I've never even played final fantasy.

i want a third RE movie,and this time leon S. kennedy will be the main character. Well I'm hearing from comingsoon.net that Leon will be in it, but Alice is still going to be one of the main characters for the first part of the movie. The plot is that Alice and the survivors head to Nevada desert and on their way, they fight zombies to reach a base or something then (the following is the plot for Resident Evil 4 movie), they head to Japan to find the headquarters for Umbrella to stop them from making the world a zombie planet. |

Yes the 1994 version with Jean-Claude Van Damme. I have all the flims of Street Fighter. Out of all of them, I like watching Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. I have 2 questions now. First, Can you tell me all of the movies in the Street Fighter series and second Some people arfe telling me that the mortal Kombat movies where great but some say they where crap. Any good game that has a plot, could in theory be made into a great movie. But that's just it:"in theory" Many variables come into play when making a videogame movie. First:Live or animated. Then:Directors are a big issue. And sometimes movies just can't capture that entertainment that games do.

Yeah any fighting games made into a movie doesn't do good to the series or makes the storyline for the series way weird for the fans to understand. Here are a list of fighting game series movies that were made or are going to:

I think they should make a movie just as great as those good game movies!
I love that Super Mario Brothers movie. they need to make another one of "The Wizard" I think that'll get alot in the box office I would go to see it.
