Well if were going into political issue's, than how about the biggest one political issue of gaming I've ever heard, Hot Coffee. You know you've heard it once, and if not: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Coffee_modSeriously, I never got an opinion on how stupid it was. What do you think?

Well i found it odd that when it came out it caused very little stir exceptt the usual what if kids get a hold of it. You know back when there was just gun violence and drug dealing.
But then when this "mod" came out the whole world and his wife join the band wagon "games are bad".
Let me get this straight its fine to kill a hooker with a shotgun just don't have sex with her? Come on its already an 18 game plus it looked terrible they even kept there close on. I mean theres no evidence that games are "evil" with every case of video game murder done for completly different reasons (the manhunt murder was a robbery gone bad) or by people who had severe mental illness anyway.

I think the people against videogames because of that are extremley stupid. Esspecially if they blame the developer's of the game. On the box there is a clear "M" on the cover. It also says 17+. If parents want to buy there kids that, that's their decision.I think the parents need to take more responsibilitey.

This is just another example of miscommunication. Hot Coffee was buried in the programs of GTA, and the only way to get to it was through manipulating the game. Obviously, it's not the Videogame industry that deserves blame, but the kids that got ahold of it. Plus, some people refuse to acknowledge videogames as a real industry. They say it's just a fad that's going to blow over in a few years. HA!

Look at the facts, we have people who are saying that the video game industry is just a fad like Pokemon cards and pogs. That's bullcrap! There's colleges that offer classes for video game designing, video game producer, and hardware developing (example: Westwood College). Also calling an industry a fad that earns billions and billions of dollars every year just selling video games, consoles, controllers, and online service is just stupid. Look at them, the video game industry is over the film industry. I'm going to say that the video game industry is going to live on and the people who denied it are going get the point sooner than later.

Those people don't really understand what the video game industry is getting at. They just think that the video game compaines are just making games so violent for the gamers but that's what not happening. Look at Zelda: TP, that game does have violenece but it's also a huge leap in the graphics in the series. One day they will understand the industry.
