I recently received a box-set with every Invader ZIM episode ever, as well as finished audio-tracks for never-before animated episodes.
Did you know there was supposed to be a movie, meant to be the series finale? (Script was never finished though. It was to be titled Invader DIB where Dib invades the Irken planet, but in the end, winds up stranded on Jupiter) Also, Nickelodeon canceled it with only half a season left until the series finale.
Nickelodeon took their best shows off the air (ZIM, Rocko, Angry Beavers..) and replaced it with sheer crap.
I just figured if anyone else here used to watch Invader ZIM, we could discuss it.

That show was the best nicktoon since ren & stimpy,but i think it got canceled cause it was too mature for the demographic that they for some reason were trying to have.
"der,im a nick executive,ive decided to cancel zim because its too mean,and mean is bad,instead im going to put on a show about a sponge that cooks food underwater,now i'll go slam my head into a door."
but zim was so random,that what was funny about it,like the episode where there on a bus and for some reason the bus is heading towards a moose.now thats comedy,not a sponge who acts like a 4 year old

I thought they canceled it because the creator also worked on JOHNNY THE HOMICIDAL MANIAC.
That show rocked, Luckily the voice of ZIM! is in Destroy All Humans, a game ZIM! would have approved of.

I miss decent TV broadcast..
There's nothing good on Nick, and only the occasional watchable show on Cartoon Network..

*sigh* nowadays TV(cartoon-wise) is just getting worse. I miss all the old classics.
Coming home after school and watching DBZ on Toonami every evening. Saturday mornings spent laughing my ass off at Captain Planet. Friday nights on Nick with new Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, and Invader Zim.
What's more intersting though, is that Invader Zim is now a big fad. There's tons of products with Ger on them.

Some? Liar. That Chop Chooky Socks thing sounds horrible. Captian Planet was hardcore, he could kill a man with a gaze. One might say Billy and Mandy are the next best thing after ZIM! considering how goth it is.
All that's one Nick and Disney is shitty sitcomes, reruns, and overused and unfunny jokes.

Hey my girlfriend got me alot of that stuff, its quite a contrast to some of the darker stuff and posters in my room, such as texas chainsaw, alien, dog soldiers, scarface, rambo, taxi driver and other shit. |

Its a british action-horror movie. Its about a bunch of scottish troops who want to see a football match (soccer for you american fucks, seriously why do you call that sport football you dont kick a ball with your foot unlike soccer, fucking retards, anyways off topic) so theyre pissed about being the middle of nowhere in scotland on a shitty training mission. Mysteriously the other team were found ripped apart with one survivor. Then were wolves start to attack again ripping peoples guts apart they take shelter in an old house and have to defend it with there lives. too bad british accents and horror movie low volume voices do not mix at all,i could barely understand shaun of the dead.still funny though.
