Guitar Hero: On Tour, the latest in the guitar hero franchises. Saccording to my May 08' Nintendo Power's (V228) Game Watch Forecast, the game is going to be released sometime this summer.
The button add-on plugs into the GBA slot on your DS and the game card is plugged in in it's usual place. The guys over at NP Studios have deduced, using in-game screenshots, that you will have to use the whammy bar and strum the string with the stylus.
Unfortunately, the game only uses four of the buttons used in Guitar Hero (Green, red, Yellow, and blue.) but it may be for a good reason because the position in which you hold the DS (book style) may be awkward at first and take some getting used to and adding an extra button might not help. Also the screen is pretty small and the notes would be difficult to see if there were another colour. Just try to think of it as a bass.
The game has a multiplayer mode via local Wi-Fi. This is said to be where the real fun of the game takes place. It is said that the track-list will include alternative, classic, rock and pop songs.
