Well, unfortunately, I didn't manage to make any comics today BUT I spent the day fiddling around with my computer and I managed to start: [glow=red,2,300] SHADOW RISING: THE OFFICIAL GAME[/glow] What we'll have here is something similar to the adventure mode on SSBM; some good platforming action with a spot of violence thrown in. Samus, Mario and Luigi will be playable characters, each with different gameplay styles and attacks and there will be a variety of different worlds to play through such as the forest area that Mario & co. are travelling through at this time. I haven't got tremendously far but we could have a demo in a week or two. Don't get your hopes up though.

The same thing with a game happend to Lets Brawl. It's hard to make a game and comics too. Don't push yourself too hard, k?

yeah, i'm taking a break on the game until I finish the comics. It was a bit difficult. It was either:
Work on the game and neglect comics
or
Work on the comics and neglect game
So I put the game project on hold for awhile.

Hopefully you can do both things at once. I can't wait for it!

Yeah it's Gamemaker. It's far simpler than Flash

Sorry for the delay. Here's number 17. And regarding the game, I took everyone's repsonses into account and I won't necessarily 'put it on hold' as such but I'm going to work on the comics a bit more before I start some major work on the game. Maybe wait to see how the storyline unfolds and plan it out and stuff. Well, anyway, enjoy 17.

lol
that reminds me of Kirby: Squeak Squad. Kirby travels all the way across the world and goes through so many levels just to get back his stolen Strawberry Shortcake.
Looking forward to the next one!

The trio unleashes justice on the shadows. Good for them! Oh and I changed the font after some complaints from DrunkDuck users. Any good?

yes, that font is much better. I also noticed a few complaints about the text bubbles.
It's no trouble on my computer, but I noticed that colors can appear brighter on other computers (if I try to read your comic on the other comp, it makes my eyes hurt)
Although this problem can be solved by using softer colors. Like with Let's Brawl, rather than using default blue for Sora, I use a softer, baby blue color.
Just some advice. (for an easy way to get color, you can use the eye-dropper tool and pick a color from your sprite's palette, like for Mario you can take one of the shades of red from his hat)
but anyway, nice comic!

I like the new font you're using a lot better. I also like the "special Effects" if you know what I mean. Like the gun shooting and the lines where they jumped. Anwyays, nice new issue.

Awesome new issue! Seeing everyone else make sprite comics is so cool. I've always got something to read when bored. Keep up the good work!

Sorry for another absence. I was staying in Oxford for a day and so I didn't get anything done. Plus, I go back to school tomorrow so things may get a little slow. Well, enjoy this one anyway.
