I normally try not to double post, but since it was so long ago that I made the previous post, I figured, it'd be okay..

Since SSBB comes out January 28th in Japan, PLEASE refrain from posting spoilers here! (I'm looking at you, GMB) Just, post links, that are properly labeled as spoilers, or just don't post them. I'd like to discover the secret characters and stages on my own.

Also, New Pork City looks like it will become one of my favorite stages.

Well it is MADE in japan.

And they kinda hafta, you know, translate it to bring it over here. (I think they're translating it as it's made though, cuz it normally takes alot longer than a month to translate a whole game)

I was very very shocked to find out we got the Wii first.

If they have another stage like Yoshi's Island 64 (where you had to get like, 350 with yoshi) co-op will make it MUCH easier!

Why would the website show secrets in the game, thats dumb.

And like DHL said, if it's made in Japan, they get it first, but the only thing i would like is a demo on the Wii Ware Channel.

Doubtful. Some people will be satisfied just playing a demo, and not get the game. The most we'll get s probably videos like the MP3 preview.

Also, if anyone is going to E for All, could you post some info here?

Just stuff like how the new characters handle, and maybe describe some un-announced Final Smashes (unless they announce the Final Smashes of all the playable characters before E for All) and maybe describe that weird spiky, sea urchin looking thing that's in the recent videos.

I JUST FOUND A GREAT IDEA! (not my idea, i'll post a link to the original person and thier idea at the bottom)

What if for the November 12th release of Super Mario Galaxy, they include a bonus disc of the Brawl demo?

Here are the main reasons I think this would be a good move.

1. It's another Nintendo title, so they'd be advertising one of their games, through another one of their games... win-win.
2. Galaxy is another highly anticipated game, so the Brawl demo would reach a lot of people.
3. People who didn't really plan on getting Galaxy might think twice now if it means they'll get their hands on the Brawl demo.
4. People who buy Galaxy that weren't really planning on getting Brawl might try it out and realize they want to buy Brawl in February.
5. The release date of Galaxy gives Nintendo just enough time to mass produce copies of the demo and include them with the purchase of Galaxy.


Worst case scenario, nobody who buys Galaxy will be tempted to buy Brawl after trying out the demo, nobody who is waiting for Brawl buys Galaxy just to play the demo, and they wasted money on all those extra discs for the demo.

Best case scenario, some of the people who buy Galaxy try out the Brawl demo and now want to buy it when they didn't really care before, all the hardcore Smash fans go out and buy Super Mario Galaxy even though they didn't plan on buying it at all, and Nintendo makes a lot more money.

It certainly worked for Microsoft when they put the Halo 3 beta on Crackdown!

Someone who knows the E-Mail adress of the Galaxy or Brawl main development should send that in.

Woah, that is a really good idea!! I hope Nintendo takes this into concideration. I'm pretty sure they won't have a demo for SSBB because of the Wii's small memory. A disc with Mario Galaxies definatley seems like the way to do it.

thanks, I got the idea earlier today, and was able to make it in under 15 minutes, it's pretty simple.

6 New fighters:
1. Daisy (40% sure)
2. a Fire Emblem character besides Lyn, Roy, and Marth (75% sure)
3. a F-Zero character besides Samurai Goroh (45% sure)
4. a Pokemon character besides Pichu, Mewtwo, and Jigglypuff (60% sure)
5. Mega Man (5% sure! lol)
6. a Star Fox character besides Falco (35% sure)

5 Returning fighters:
1. Ness (100% sure)
2. Ganondorf (100% sure)
3. Luigi (100% sure)
4. Capt. Falcon (100% sure)
5. Shiek (85% sure)

It could mean anything, but it could mean Megaman in brawl..

Also, I don't think Ness is returning. Lucas looks very similar so far, so the most Ness will be is probably an alternate costume. (Sakurai said he doesn't want ANY clones in this game)

Maybe Lucas could have some different moves since I do see Ness returning with his old moves.

That's why Ganondorf is going to have a new moves set on him with a few from his SSBM set.

As for the cryptic message, it could be anything since may people are also talking about a future Street Fighter 4 game coming out and it almost did in 2005 but it was a different fighting game and in 2008, the Street Fighter saga is going to be 25 years old.

But who knows.

Also, even if Capcom's message doesn't mean Megaman, most of his games are on Nintendo system (1-7, and a few of the X games, not to mention all those GBA spin-offs no-one cares about) and he'd work well for a Super Smash Bros game.

Also, Daisy is more likely to be an alternate to Peach, like in Melee, I mean, who wants clones, and what kind of original moves could Daisy have?

Now that a nice pic. But I do have to say that there are some characters in that roster that I know are not going to be in it for sure.

Mr G&W, Olimar, R.O.B., Tom Nook, Waddledee, Boswer Jr., Ballon Fighter, Jigglypuff

I'm not sure about Falco, Krystal, Wolf, Waluigi, Dark Samus, Roy, Marth, or Mewoth.

Black Shadow is one of the ones that I see appearing in the game along with Blood Falcon, Pico, or Michael Chain that may represent the second fight from the F-Zero series.
