turns out, the date is January 24th, 2008 in Japan.
If we're lucky, we'll get it then too. But we'll prolly get it in february..
And I also heard that the reason they're holding it back is to make Co-op online, and probably other improvements (hopefully voice chat amoung friends >.> )

I already knew that Sonic was going to appear in SSBB. How? Well when Nintendo announced that they and Sega would work together for the first time to work on the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, from that point on, I knew that Nintendo would one day announce Sonic as a fighter in SSBB.
First Snake, now Sonic. The game just gets better and better. I would which third party character is going to join next?

I have some pretty good news! While Knuckles is not offically confirmed as a character I have proof that he is going to be an assist trophy!! If you watch the video that introduces Sonic closely, you'll see a red thing pop out of the ground for a second and than dig back in the ground! That has to be him because there are 4 other people fighting. Watch the video again and you'll see him! Edit: Omfg, I'm sorry! I stand corrected  That's actually a spring, I suppose that sonic can summon a spring at any time, use it, and than it vanishes.  |

But Nintendo would have to talk to Capcom about it. Now it seems that Super Smash Bros. series isn't just a Nintendo characters only fighting game but a multi-companies fighting game since we now have Nintendo, Konami, and Sega in it. And with many other suggetions like Mega Man and other great characters that we may see in future Super Smash Bros. games, we could see Midway, Capcom, and Square Enix appear in it since many of their famous game series started or work with Nintendo. |
