Yeah, is the download play the only bad thing? Yeah, it's just like mortal kombat when I was younger, but more! It gives you all the special moves and fatalities. Although I haven't gotten a fatality to work yet for some reason when I could do it on the SNES, I just think I need more practice. The download play sucks because you can only use a few characters and none of the special abilities work. It's just the grime of any fighting game, and in my opinion, the special features and movies is what makes MK unique. |

Actually, the DS version put all the characters and boards from MK2 and 3 and put them together. They also put in the puzzle kombat from Deception that was on the Gamecube.
In the game, your characters are on the bottom screen and on the top is all their moves.
