I honestly recommend that anyone that can make the update do it. It really is worth it. The Brightness alone is reason enough to buy it but the overall sleekness and light wieght feel of it is great too.
What I'm planning on doing is sell my current DS for around 90$ (I still have the box, manuals, charger, and everything) and just putting down about 40$ for the DS lite.

From what I've heard..yeah it wouldn't be a bad choice to buy a DS lite.

I LOVE my DS lite. But I have tiny hands, my husband who has larger hands says that just the weight and bulkyness of the regular DS suits him better, he'll just wear his headlite if he needs to see

The DS Lite is definetly worth it. Get it. So sleek and shiny and sexy...it's good. I lost my stylus for it and my mom through the spare away

The DS lite also has such a brighter screen. I love that, the quality of the graphics seems better, too. Less blocky on the 3-D games like Mario 64 DS.

well i might get it still undecided If it will help you decide. You can sell your current DS and then only have to put down so much money. I think someone else said this too.

Okay most guys hands are to big for this, you support it completely with your fingers! I don't have much of a problem with that but my friends do.
