Can you use the wii-mote for metroid prime 1 & 2 on the wii?? no the codes(not cheat codes) of the game allow it to only work with the gc controller. What about using the GC controller for MP3??? Will that work?

...you can't use the Gamecube controller for Wii games.... There might be a slim chance that super smash bros 3 might use it, though, but only that. i think they're gonna end up using the "retro controller" for it...the one in Wiiwiiman's sig above me.

He's not a noob anymore he's a new user. Anyways I think they're going to have on the back of every game if it's compatible with the gc controlelr sort of how it's on the Gamecube. Instead of saying if 2 people can play or not it'll say iwhat controlelrs it uses.

Nope. It depends on the developer if they want to make the GC controller functional with the Wii games.
Games like Red Steel and Metroid Prime 3 won't use the GC controller because there are some elements in the game that needs the functionality of the Wii-mote and the developers haven't released any info about it being compatible with the GC controller.
For example, in Metroid Prime 3 you flick the nunchuck controller to use the grappling hook against enemies, and there are some puzzles that exclusively use the motion sensing ability. Also, you can't get the full experience of the sword fighting with regular GC controllers.
Super Smash Brawl, however, will use the GC controller because the developers have already toyed around with the Wii-mote and came in conclusion that it'd be better just to use the traditional controller to play the game.

There has been no confirmation for GC controller compatibility with games like Red Steel and Metroid Prime 3, and it's highly unlikely.

Its a good idea except they would probably keep the number of players that can play. ...you can't use the Gamecube controller for Wii games.... There might be a slim chance that super smash bros 3 might use it, though, but only that. i think they're gonna end up using the "retro controller" for it...the one in Wiiwiiman's sig above me. That is also a very good thought... Now I don't know which answer I should expect. Oh well I guess I shouldn't expect anything consiering it's not coming out for a while...
