The only offical thing they've said is in the "fourth quarter of 2006" and in a previous interview a representative said we could expect the Nintendo Wii in the homes of Americans by Thanksgiving. So that basically narrows it down to September-November. My personal guess?
Early November.

I love it when they release new games or consoles durring the cold seasons. We're mostly inside durring that time, so it gives us plenty of time to play video games. I would much rather play a video game in december than in July.

I am looking forward to Red Steel and ExciteTruck I hoped it would be a launch title,oh well.I can't believe what timing Wal-mart has. My towns Wal-Mart Supercenter is going to be finished in late August! It is exciting because we have no game stores here so we are forced to get our games from a regular wal-mart. There game selection is C-R-A-P!They have 25 games for the consoles. Not 25 games for each console! just 25 console games. It was lk 11 for the PS2,9 for X-box and 5 for the CG.

Well, dont look forward to getting a new console from a walmart when it first releases, cuz thats where everyone goes first. Because walmart is cheap, and they sometimes even let you in earlier, so more people will wait days at a walmart for the new console. One of the walmarts by me, wasnt supposed to sell the Xbox360 until midnight. A whole bunch of people were waiting outside in the cold. The manager decided to open at one hour before midnight so that they could warm up. But then, he decided to sell the Xbox360s at the same time. I bet a lot of walmarts did that, so thats why people will go there first.

They wont, Wal-mart is like the rebelious teenager of the supermarkets. Did you know that they dont support unions. One union got wal-mart to let them work in their store in canada. One day before the contract would take effect, the store got closed.
I think we need to start to support other stores like Target more.

In Illinois they had a billboard saying"Sorry Wal-mart. No unions, no you." Target is my store of choice, and super targets are just like a wal-mart.

Durring the begining of december of 2005, I went on a cruise for a family reunion down to mexico. We stopped at three places and the trip was a week long. After two days at sea, we came to the first port. The first thing we saw at this "tropical" stop was a big ass wal-mart!
