My suggestion:
I think when topics are locked they should just be deleted because it looks ugly and untidy when there are a row of locked topics. They should just die, because its not like they have any use.

Yeah, but some were just locked for no reason or because nothing was happening, they should be deleted, plus it would save this site some bandwith.
