You know, when I was paraphrashed as NG on Snafu, I couldn't keep a single Newgrounds conversation without spelling it out completly.

Imagine having to spell out Wii Together instead of WT for every conversation, or even people who don't know about this place getting confused about WTF WT, even if you call it WThF it would still be confusing, making the phrase completly confusing. Thusly, people won't want to use it anymore.
