Well, there are different types of gamers out there as you may know. Even summing them all up into select classes is hard to do. But if you happen to be a gamer, what kind would best suit you?
Retro: Yeah, you have current systems and play newer games, but you spend a lot of your time playing and re-playing old systems, games, and series.
Casual: You love video games old and new and from any company. You may spend a lot of time playing them, but you do occasionally go out to get some sun.
Non-Gamer: Well, you play video games every now and then, but you'd rather go out and do other things because you can't get entertained by them. (wtf r u doing on this site?)
Strict: You're basically a fan boy for a certain company and you hate the competitors. Whenever your friends sit down and play a game of the other company, you walk away because you despise that system so much. (yeah, I personally know people like this)
Current: You say "screw the past" and keep on updating your systems selling your old ones once they become obsolete. You constantly want better graphics, newer game play, and up to date games. Once you've beaten a game, you head over to your game stop to trade it in for a new one.
Junkie: Doesn't matter what, but as long as there's a controller, mouse, or remote in your hand and some sort of screen in front of you, you're happy. You've mastered several games and own all of your friends and foes at any game you've played against them. Sun annoys you because it's always putting a glare your screen. If only your parents would let you paint your windows black.
Money: You play games like Diablo 2, Runescape, WoW, etc. and you actually go onto sites like ebay and buy accounts, characters, and items. Money is your friend because it makes you a better person than all the other people who don't pay for anything. You also have no problem paying for extra maps and such for console games like Halo 2 and Gears.
Hacking: You either can't win games with your own skills or you just plain love pissing people off, or both! You make, buy, or somehow get your own hacks to beat the competition. Either ruining other people's computers or systems or boosting up your own character in any game.
Other: None of these fully describe you. You're either a combination of some of these or I've missed the type of yours with my attempt to cover most people.
I actually had fun making these categories. XD
But for me, I'm casual but with a retro aspect. I have a wii and 360 and play new games an all, but I still love spending a lot of my time playing older games like tetris, Diablo, starcraft, etc. People always see me playing these older games and they're like "how can yous stand those graphics!?"
