New Admin and Site details

Hai everyone. By now you all probably know that Albert has been demodded. Giga Bowser was going to remain admin but he politely declined as he mentioned that he was not going to be online much anymore.

So boys and girls I am now going to be your new administrator. =3

Now I'll admit i'm actually quite diffrent from you guys actaully think I am. I might be a little strict about somethings but you're just going to have to deal with it. Because no one will save you now. I mean, unlike Albert, I'm actually going to enforce everything. I won't hesitate to ban anyone for whatever mistake they make.

Before telling me about being admin he mentioned something about the true creator of this board kicking Albert off and making someone new in charge. I'm still not to sure what it all means, but whatever.

He said that after he made a few last post on this thread he'd be leaving permanently because he didn't feel loved anymore.

A farewell goes out to him.

So like GMB mentioned, we'll be having a sort of new world order here. And yes, I decided that we need more mods. =3

Like Albert said, Mods are important for keeping order on Wii Together. I've decided to de-mod all current moderators and chose some new ones because the current ones could be corrupted from our previous leaders.

Now although we had a thread for deciding this on election, I've decided to lock that thread because I decided that this site will probably be best run by me with all decisions run only by me.

So for those of you waiting for a long time to be a mod, don't worry anymore! The following will now become moderators!

Dragon will be in charge of things while I am away.

Now congrats to these users, you've earned it with your dedication and awesome posts!

Now as much as I am sure you members here enjoy the Comic Creations section and the Politics section, the new modderators and I have discussed what we think would be more fun for the site.

Now I know some of you might be upset and i'm sorry, but we have agreed to delete both the Comic and Politics section to be replaced with better secions.

In other news I will be ammending a few rules on this forum.

I won't release all the info now but some changes involve only posts revolving cats on saturdays, Hentai Thursdays, and (my favorite) Yiffy Fridays! These days will have special rules that apply only to those days. If anyone is found breaking a rule, for example not posting a pictur of a cat on Fridays, you will be banned.

But these are just the basic details
I'll let you all know later.

But for now I hope you all enjoy your days on Wii Together. =3

First off I'd like to thank Giga Bowser for "taking over" while I was indisposed of. I also greatly appreciate RB Bran for putting up with this madness and having a great sense of humor through all of this. I am glad to see the support that comes in Wii Together. But nonetheless, I will be taking back my rightful place.

Quite a few things unfolded in the last few weeks here at Wii Together. And in case you've yet to figure it out, let's get them cleared out, shall we?

No, the above changes mentioned by Branson will not be taking place. Branson and I never "fought" nor was he perma banned. I'm not prejudiced against any group either on this forum or out of it. And no, Wii Together s not being soled to Fox Cooperation. Although that one might be true someday.

As much as I would like to sincerely give you a reason for these planned events, I'm not to sure. If anyone was hurt by these events I sincerely give you my apologies. It could be viewed as a joke that got jsut a slight bit out of hand at one point. But please rest assured there was no malice behind it. And it served as a way for me to realize the things that we need to make Wii Together better. In the time I was away I realized that there are many things we can do to strive to make Wii Together even better.

Wii Together is not a dictatorship. Wii Together is not a place to feel "abused" or "Oppressed". Wii Together is, and always has been, simply a place to have fun.

Now moving back into the direction of apologies; I would like to take the humble approach of saying that I honestly am sorry for whatever mistakes I have made in the past to give the appearance of abusiveness. I have never meant to be anything but helpful but if I erred, please forgive me.

I learned quite a bit on these last weeks. And although I wish some of the things said on here were part of the joke, They weren't.

To think some users on WT would quietly pretend to support me and care for me as a friend when in reality they secretly "hate" me is quite shocking. Any time any of you have a grievance with me I incite you to let me know through PM or Instant Message in a way that is mature and polite.

But I digress. To focus on the negative would be the wrong thing to do. So take my word that I am striving to make sure that our community here stays as enjoyful as possible. I assure you that these past weeks have helped me shape Wii Together's future for the better.

That and i'm sure that soon we'll all laugh at it all. I know DHL has already taken use of it.

I want to take the oppurtunity now -- seeing as it's as good a time as ever-- to announce a couple of site wide topics:

For those of you that are not aware, Wii Together users have created a Wii Together Election Thread. I encourage you now to use this thread as a way to voice your opinions on who you think should be suggested as Forum Moderators or other new titles that I will make. I am eager to hear your opinions.

Wii Together now has a Furry Fan Club as well as well as many other growing and hot Clubs in the Clubs and Crews section. So be sure to check it out! =3

I am also taking use of this moment to formally announce that General M. Bison, or GMB as we've affectionaly come to call him, has been chosen to be a Wii Together Moderator. This is, of course, only if he accepts.

Joining him will be Nihongo. Once again, if he accepts, that is.

(And I do hope he does, so that
his avatar can then be hilariously accurate.)

At current state I have other members in mind for other things. While I have not yet made up all the details I am considering things such as Dark Hamster Lord and maybe a few others getting a special title as well as the special abilities for Comic Creations.

But all in good time.

The great thing about WT is the close community we have; The one I have always wanted it to be since its start. So I implore users to not feel any negative feelings towards anyone for cause of not being selected yet. Here at WT we rarely have problems with spam or discipline and I salute each and every regular member on this forum because of that. The moderators are mostly here to make sure the Forum stays safe from outside attackers or spammers.

As i'm sure you have already noticed, Wii Together now has an official "in-site" Chat Room.

Regretfully it is pretty basic. But until we can get a more full featured version I encourage you all to make the most of it.


Looking into the future I'd like to inspire you guys to stay hopeful. I expect to one soon day purchase a domain name to have a site that goes along with the forum. I am not entirely sure what content we would have, but I'm fairly sure Flash, Games, Comics made by users here on WT, and most importantly Gaming News will be the majority of it. (Courtesy of your aspiring Journalist here.)

In response to your question you made earlier, I think you might possibly make a good moderator. The same could be said about most of the members here on the forum. But of course it would just not be fair to the users that have dedicated a bit more time into their posts.

Then there is also the fact that there isn't really a critical need for a large amount of moderators. It's for this reason I hope to include new types of groups that have privileges that suit their situation.

So stay active and a great poster and know that you're still going to be cared for the same as a regular user as you would as a mod.

Yeah, I understand. We simply did not know each other since the start. I'm just hoping in time you'll realize that I'm not a bad guy at all. I might make jokes from time to time but most users know I'm joking. I talk with a lot of the guys here over AIM and they've come to realize that I can be serious but I can also mess around and talk to them like a buddy.

But seriously, if I ever do something you don't agree with or get annoyed by, don't be afraid to call me on it. As long as you do it as a friend and not as someone trying to purposely upset the flow on the forum just to create chaos, then it's fine. Because we've had those here.
