My goal in life is to be a Videogame Programmer. I used to want to be a Videogame story writer, but then I realized I hate writing.. Then I wanted to be a Chef, but I recently realized that programming is what I really want to do.

Yes that's cool I would love to take my time and make a story for videogames! Oh about being a Chef I think you should try that I like to make good food and ppl say "wow man this taste lovely" and im like "thank you" programming wow that must be hard. ;D

I have about three goals that I'm aiming for. The 1st one is to be a Video Game Producer since I love writing many stories, thinking up new characters for the current video game series, and drawing backgrounds, maps, and weapons.

The 2nd goal is to become a Film Director for a small bit. I like watching films that have a lot of action, war, and a good story to it, like the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I'm going to take a class that has a tv sudio and I hope I can learn stuff about the film industry. And no, if I do become a director, I'm not going to direct any video game-to-movie movies unless I really know the story, the characters and its history like Halo or Gears of War (which could be a good movie if made.)

And my last goal is to be an Author. Like what I said in my first goal, I love to write many stories that are fction. Right now, I'm writing and typing a story that is about a major war between planets including Earth and a new planet in a different solar system in the year 2078.

Wow That's kind of like mine!! First, I wanted to become a viedogame programmer becasue I love games. I still might do that but as a side job. Thatn I relised That I really want to be a magazine writer for a videogame magazine! So basiclly I want t be an author/videogame programmer.

Wow that's almost excactly like me!
I want to study graphic arts, and maybe try my hand at directing some indie films in college, or write a novel in my spare time. ;D

Seems like a quite of few of you want to work with video games, and so do I. I've been wanting to be a video game programmer, but I can also learn to do other things when I go into college. I already have a university planned to go to and this summer, I'll be going there to check it out.

Video game programming, I think, is a good choice because if you cant get a job working with video games, you can always work with computer programming.

Dont feel left out, this is a gamming site after all. But that doesnt say that we have to have game related jobs. And if it helps you feel better, I used to want to be a police officer.

Don't feel bad, Aztec-Dude, Adam, Misumena, Bran-Man, and I have other goals than going for the game industry. My goal is to be an officer (mostly the rank of Captain or Major) in the Marines.
