I'd say they were the same, melee is fun because its really quick but I love the more tactical approach of brawl.

yes brawl was very tactical "okay whats the best way of spamming this horrendously overpowered move i have? oh damn i have never been faced with such a challenge"
graphics are the only thing that brawl was better at,and even then,they gave capt. falcon o fucking ascot,which pissed me off.
if i was to rate brawl,i would give it a 2/5

Meh, what sells is it for me is the bigger character roster, more stages, music, and things to do, plus melee has wayyyy too many clones, the whole, falco, wolf and fox thing annoyed me in brawl but not half as bad as melee.
Plus online play and such.

yes,but they could have made it alot better what with the 7 YEARS THEY HAD TO MAKE IT!
that game should have blew my fucking mine,and instead it kept me mildly amused for only a few hours

I only play Brawl when someone I know wants to play. I haven't played single player in months. It's only really fun as a party game, unfortunately.
