Kewl. I'm not that pumped about it and therefore didn't preorder nor stay till a midnight opening, but since I'm waking up to drop off my little sister to school anyway, I shall run by some stores and grab a copy nice and early.

Well I noticed that the game devides chapters in a really stupid way,like in the first level,where you snuff out a pathetic locust raid,it's actually two chapters,and there was this annoying rail shooting part where i had to stop nemacysts from hitting the vehicle,but the damn nemacyst go really fricken fast so i had to replay it 5 times.

there are now 4 difficulty,casual,normal,hardcore,and insane,i of course played on hardcore mode,enemies are smarter,but weaker,even on harcore enemies only needed about 15-25 shots to take down,but they don't just let you pick them off one by one,i had to restart many times because i got taked down by 4 locust that all rushed me at the same time.

some guns have more ammo,i think the snub now holds 130,and the boltok holds about 46,but the hammerburst holds only 300 something,same as the lancer,and ammo boxes do not give you near as much ammo,most of the time all i got was about 50 shots at the most for my lancer.

So when i was waiting in line,the guy who looked like farva said that he got an elite and it broke down,so i guess it doesn't matter which one you get,oh and this gamestop employee was wearing a cog tags necklace and he didn't even have a 360,what a douche.

So i beat it,the whole thing about the meat cube being used in cool way,that was a lie i guess.

And no,dom's wife is not the locust queen,but i could see that epic was trying to make people think that,when dom put his wifes face into the database thing,this locust letter popped up,that letter looks a lot like the letter for Queen.

In one level of the game,there were these gay enemies called the sires,they were basically the flood from halo,you know,melee attack only,zombie like,and hard to kill,while it was cool that thier body moved realistically whenever i shot them with my gorgon pistol,no other weapon did this,my flamethrower just burned them,and my shot gun was surprisingly useless.

there were actually a few things that actually made me a little empathetic,and if you really want to have it spoiled then by all means keep on reading


As marcus and dom were getting deployed into the earth in a gridlift,dizzy and tai started fighting skorge.dizzy's fate is never revealed,tai ends up being found in a "torture barge" after delta squad goes underground,marcus being the idiot that he is,doesn't assume that tai may be a little crazy after being tortured,and hands him a shot gun,tai goes an hero,and i get sad.

then there was the time that dom supposedly found his wife,after jack opens up the casket she was in,she walks out of the casket,still as beautiful as dom remembers,marcus looks sad and says dom's name in a sad tone,then dom snaps out of his little fantasy and realizes that maria is no longtruly alive,instead she is a soul less malnourished husk with skars all over her,after some wimpering,dom pulls out his boltok,and well,i think you can figure the rest out.

Meh i'll play through it a bunch,since i have to kill 100.000 enemies to get the seriously 2.0 achievement.

and what the fuck? you seemed so excited for gears2.and now you act like you could care less.

Well your beloved screwattack gave it a good score,and maybe yahtzee will get around to reviewing it,like 5 weeks from now.

And i got to play with a friend of mine,totally slaughtered him,shot him with a torque bow and his character was like "OH SHI-"

Screwattack have not reviewed it yet. They dont really review games anyways, gametrailers reviewed it, your probably getting confused.
