The wii game I am most excited for after seeing it at e3. Its a first person shooter with the type of control scheme we've seen in prime 3. I dont like prime games much but the controls were brilliant. Its a wii exclusive. Also its the wii's first big online shooter and it will use the wiispeak microphone too. Also you can map the controls yourself, so its easier for you. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_ConduitTheres the wiki page. It looks pretty epic, graphics are awesome.

High voltage software said: "We think it's a real shame that publishers and developers aren't taking advantage of the technical possibilities of the Wii platform. Most Wii games don't even look as good as the later day PS2 titles and that's a real slap in the face to consumers," seconds Kerry Ganofsky, CEO and founder, High Voltage Software. "We believe that third-party developers need to step up to the plate and deliver. The Wii platform is capable of a lot more than what consumers have seen so far. We're hoping to raise a new bar." Nofsinger takes it a step farther. "Most of the games on the Wii look like crap. We want to change that, so we've invested heavily in our Wii tech over the past year. We have real-time normal mapping, reflection and refraction, post process full screen effects, real-time shadows, projected lights and textures, specularity and fresnel effects, emissive and iridescent materials, interactive water, morphing, and much more all running with a rock solid frame rate on the Wii. Our goal is to be the most technically innovative Wii developer on the planet." The game needs a good publisher, the current one has done some good games but arent good at marketing so it wont sell well to people other than die hard video gamers that keep up with e3. Looks quite 360ish to me.

IGN went into alot of detail on the game with previews and awards and everything.
Also, I think this is my first serious topic.

The developer is high voltage and the producer is swinging ape or something, but they might be changed to just nintendo publishing it.

Atleast if the game itself sucks we'll get a solid online fps.

Well hopefully you'll have a solid connection for online play before the game.
I seriously want to put all my trust and faith into this company to bring out one of the best shooters ever or atleast a good online fps for the wii. I really need to believe in this project to show the sony and xbox fanboys wii can have decent shooters with online play.

as long as the gameplay isnt flawed it should be a good game.because there is no chance in hell that the generic storyline is gonna save this one.

Generic, at the moments everyone loves that word. Eh stories interesting illuminati being linked with aliens and such. I just hope it doesnt get fucked at the last minute.
