Actually, 15 would be juugo, not ichigo. ichigo is one-five, juugo is fifteen.

Also, Japanese has a limited number of syllables, unlike English, so once you know how the vowels are pronounced, you can pretty much pronounce any Japanese word without too much failure.

oh and i got through the first six episodes of haruhi,that show is pretty cool.

and i noticed one of those references you were talking about,in lucky star they were asking when they stopped believing in santa,then on the first episode of haruhi kyon was saying how lame a conversation would be if you asked eachother when you stopped beliving in santa.

and whats with that episode 00 crap? i watched it for 30 seconds and i didn't get is so i went on to episode 1.

Episode 00 is a movie produced by the SOS Brigade, The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina.

Also, are you watching it in chronological order, or broadcast order?

ive been watching it from episode 1 to 6,whichever order that is.

You can't really tell by episode number if you're watching online, since some people number by broadcast, and others number by chronological order

If the whole things seems out of order and confusing, it's broadcast order. If everything seems to fit together nicely, it's chronological order. (If you've been paying attention to the titles, all the first 6 episodes will be "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part #" there are only 6 episodes titled "TMoHS" others have unique titles)

Of course, it doesn't really matter what order you watch it in, it just makes more sense in chronological order.

There are a total of 14 episodes, including the Adventures of Mikuru Asahina.

BUT DO NOT DESPAIR! Season 2 is in the works. Hopefully they'll air this season in the proper order >.>

(Personally, I expect Season 2 to come after they're done with Clannad: After Story, which starts October 3rd)

You guys like Lucky Star too much, it's great, but I perfer SGT Frog, but that doesn't have an English Dub.

and besides,i like haruhi more then lucky star,its just better.

I watched Haruhi, it was okay, but I perfer Lucky Star.

they are both great animes,mostly because of the originality.they could have made the opening/ending of each show just a bunch of clips of the characters looking either badass or sad,with a j-pop song playing,but knowmthat had them doing some sweet ass dance moves,and they even let the characters sing the songs too.
