so I took some of my Gamecube games, and I wated to play the on my Wii since I've already sold my Gamcube. I have these two memory cards that worked perfectly fine in the Gamecube, but when I play them on my Wii, there happens two things... The first memory card: about every fifth time I try saving, I get a message about "The data in the memory card in slot A is corrupted. The data must be formatted now." Of course, I can create a new save file and save as usual on the game I'm currently playing, but the other games' data is deleted thankfully I only regulary play 1 game. The second memory card: "Couldn't find any memory card in slot A."- and I can't save. So WiiTogetherers; Fix it for me.plz

Anyways, to answer your question, all of my gamecube memory cards work fine on my Wii. On my Gamecube, I do remember that 1 of my files in Tony Hawk got corrupted but that wasn't with the Wii. It's probably just your memory card.

well it's "Nintendo Gamecube memory card" with the ( Nintendo) icon on top of them In that case I don't know what to tell you. It might be as simple as the data on your Memory Card being corrupted, which could happen if you remove the memory card or turn the power off of the system in the middle of saving, usually happening unwittingly.

i noticed that with the gamecube, if you removed the memory card while the system was ON (not just saving/loading) it would corrupt the data.
Did you do that any? (I did, and had to re-unlock ALL of my SSBM data, i still dont have final destination..)

I'm also getting some letters from my friends that sometimes their memory does get corrupt while playing the GC games. So I really don't know how to solve it since those events haven't happened to me yet.

Mine works just fine, the only thing I can think of is that you have screwed up memory cards.
